“Fantastic Walking”
Reviewed April 9, 2013

Fantastic walking tracks. All tracks are clearly marked. Track which goes thru the tunnel when we were therewas closed. However this didnt matter as there are heaps of other walks to do thru lovely natural bushland with great views. Handy hint there when you do some of the tunnel walks, take a torch with you! Ample car parking. Clean toilets at car park also

“walkways for cyclists and walkers, interesting stamp mill ruins”
Reviewed April 4, 2013

We thot the gorge was lovely, with lots of places that merited photos. We walked along a few of the trails that are available to both cyclists and walkers, plus we got to see some gold and silver batteries (stamp mills in the US), and the trails are well marked. A couple hours at least are required.

“Nice walks”
Reviewed April 3, 2013

The walk through the tunnel takes some time and the tunnel is really cold and dark but it is a great walk with nice surroundings.

“Brilliant walk”
Reviewed April 2, 2013

A superb walk taking you up-stream through native bush (Punga - treeferns) then up the mountain for fantastic views. Back for lunch at the winery opposite for lunch.

“Fantastic Walking Track”

Do the windows walk and go through the tunnel, take a touch. Fantastic! We took our older friends there from Nelson and they could not stop raving. Wear old walking shoes
