After crossing the bamboo bridge (still under construction when we arrived) we first had a dive in the Mékong and a chat with the fishing family living on the beach.
Exploring the island we discovered the bamboo huts and there lovely hosts Yovanna & Ben.
Planning to stay 2 days in Kompong Cham, the Mékong Bamboo Huts kept us for 5 days enjoying local life, feeling at home like no where else in Cambodia!!!!
The kids played football with their neighbours while we took a motorbike to explore the island.
Everything's available (bike, motorbike, english and french speaking) and the food and drinks are great!
