My 3 early 30's female friends and I did the boat party. We signed up with Ed on the beach. The boat was fun but we were under the impression that the boat would stop at another island not just in the middle of the sea. Especially since I don't swim so well.
Aside from that the variety of drinks on the boat was great since we don't really like beer. Also the music was decent, they threw in some hip hop that really made it a good time for us. A good DJ should be able to play a good mix of genres to satisfy the crowd.
Later that evening after we had returned changed for the bbq dressed to go out that night, we were disappointed when we learned that tickets for Swag (the only every-night Hip-hop club) were not included as we were originally told. But luckily Greta from Cirque de La Nuit got us free tickets.
Swag was awesome, the DJ was from NY and he played a great set and mix of hits (he played a lot of Philly artists which was even more amazing since we're all from Philly) that made us not want to leave (Sat Aug 15). But we had to be at the airport by 6:30 the next morning and the combination of drinking all day and partying all night was a bit much for me at 30. Haha
I'd recommend doing this again, the price was reasonable for all that it included. But I'd like to see a bit more variety in music since we're not into Techno/house all that much.
