“My second visit”

I first came to this hotel in 2011 and returned in 2012 it was almost perfect the 1st time and nothing has changed.
There were a few more English pepole there this time but still very mixed. The food was good and a wide varity to choose from. The staff were very helpful and friendly apart from one!! The reception staff couldn't do enough to help with everything from bus time tables, selling tickets for boat trips and if you we're allinclusive sorting out packed lunches if you where going out for the day. The hotel was decorated to a good standard and the cleaning staf were constantly running around. The gym although out dated was still good and helped me to keep of some of those Holiday pounds.

My partner and I are writing this poolside on our last day in Ibiza so it's hot off the press. The hotel is nice but a few things hold it back - the bar staff are off-hand and management needs to address this. But every other members of the team are friendly and hard working and even the cleaners say hi. Reception staff very helpful.

The room was spotlessly clean. We found a possibly dangerous bedside light it was fixed same day (Sunday) no messing about. The hotel is tidy and well-kept, but could do with better external lighting in places.

We were in a room above the main entrance to the pool and bar area and were disturbed 1 night out of 5 by loud drunken Germans but staff were quick to shut 'em up. The crap singer/organist who thinks he can sing but can't was more annoying.

Room facilities include all the usual things but it's fifteen euro deposit for the safe key and then two or do euros a day usage. It's a key to work it, so don't, whatever you do lose it! TV is a choice of Sky or BBC world news. There's hotel wI-fi but it's slow and flakey - didn't work poolside - my partner needed it for work, otherwise I wouldn't have worried (€25 for the week). No tea/coffee making do pack a travel kettle if you need a cuppa to start the day.

There was a good selection of food in most cases but a lot of it was tepid. Salads lack imagination and dessert is not the best unless you like that over-sweet faux gateaux type thing.

Apart from the beach there's not a lot to do, but we enjoyed a ride on the Aqua Bus to the old town and there is a taxi rank outside the hotel.

It's clear this hotel is near the airport and this makes for a smooth transfer from landing to flopping out poolside but there are a steady stream of aircraft in descent or take off throughout the day. So it's a trade-off.

If you take a post-dinner/evening amble on the beach path please watch your step, it's dark and uneven in places and locals cycle/run on it at night.

My wife & I stayed here at the beginning of Sept on an all inclusive basis. We have had similar holidays in Crete and this compares well, however the selection of drinks is not quite as good and the attitude of some of the bar staff was surly at times. O K, I know some holidaymakers can be ignorant & arrogant but the vast majority were polite and deserve to be treated with respect because lets face it tourists are essential to the holiday industry and the jobs of the staff!
Overall though the hotel is good, it is in an excellent location for the beach which must be one of the best in the area, it also serves up very varied and good quality food. There are plenty of taxis and a local bus service to get in to Ibiza town, and also down at the beach there is an aqua ferry which runs very regularly to Ibiza marina. Plenty of sunbeds around the 2 pools which are free to use, and some sunbeds available on the beach for a charge.
We had a very relaxing holiday and we would go back.

My partner and i travelled to ibiza for my sons wedding and after looking at various reviews, decided on the Sirenis goleta on an all inclusive basis however on arrival in the early hours was told that all inclusive was at the carebelas. The room was adequate it was spotless but a" little tired"on the fifth floor with pool and seaviews. The main gripe was the food, it was varied and plentyfull, salads were ok but hot food was not hot enough.one tip if you like a cup of tea/coffee first thing take a travel kettle as there"s no facilities in the room but there"s an empty minibar which is great for water etc.Rooms are cleaned everyday and security seems ok cctv in the corridors,we enjoyed our stay, staff generally polite and cheerful.

Room Tip: rooms with pool views also have seaview

Terrible service. Cheap tacky rooms. Very loud awful mix of music by pool each day. We had to go out every day as we couldn't bear to be by the pool. Our sea view room had a huge filthy air conditioning unit in front of it and cleaners were rapping at the doors every morning at 9. Would defiantly not return.

I stayed here with a group of 16 ladies for my 40th birthday celebrations. The hotel was clean and staff very friendly. We were pleasantly surprised at the choice of food and drinks which were included in the all inclusive deal. The quality of food was good and there was a variety to choose from. Our rooms had a lovely view and were quiet at night. It is a 10-15 min walk to the centre and the bars but this means a good sleep at night. We walked to Space without difficulty. I would stay here again.

This was a very good hotel and very clean. There was never any problem getting a sunbed, putting towels down really early was not allowed. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We had the choice of two swimming pools, and they were never overcrowded when we were there. You are not allowed lie lows in the pool but you could take a ball into it and have a bit of fun.

Plenty of choice in the dining room, we went all inclusive which was excellent. We were really pleased with the choice of food, always lots of really tasty food. The restaurant was spotless and the waiter/ess very quick to take your drink order, we had diet coke which came in a large glass jug as we were all inclusive. Plenty in it for 2 large glasses each, 2 adults and 1 child (13).

On arrival we were allocated a bedroom just above the diningroom which was very noisy and smelt of cooking all the time, also people above had flicked their cigarette ends down on top of it. As we were there for a fortnight and used with no noise at home this was going to be a nightmare. We went straightaway to reception and asked them if we could have a change of room, and we explained why, the receptionist was really helpful and allocated us another room which was fantastic, overlooking the pools and the sea. Our beds were so comfortable, memory foam, had a great nights sleep, don't usually sleep that well, wish I could have brought the mattress back in my suitcase.

The only down side of the holiday was the evening entertainment. This was really poor compared to the other Sirenis Seaview Country Club in Ibiza (San Antonia), they had a Take That tribute band, Abba Tribute Band and even a Hypnotist, excellent entertainment. This hotel had Abby on the keyboard singing a couple of times a week, reps did some acting shows. There was an impersonater one night - he was good. Rep for Sirenis Hotel - Isabel was lovely always came and spoke to us and got us to join in on the activities. Luca and the other rep were also very good.

The hotel is situated on the beach front, out at the front it was a small boat marina then the long beach, this end was lovely and quiet, you could walk to the party end and it was very loud. At the other end you could go on a jet ski (which the boys did) 50 euros for 15 minutes, also lots of other rides cheaper.

There were plenty of shops within walking distance. We did not want for anything.
We paid for a wi-fi connection which cost 25 euros each week, this was much better than paying 2 euros to get on the hotel one, the hotel ones connection was very, very, very slow and crashed a few times, well worth paying for the week, it is instant. We only found one internet cafe but this was at the other end of the resort, long walk.

We were there from about the 7th July for a fortnight, it was mostly Italians and Germans. There wasn't many British speaking people to talk too but we still had a great holiday.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a sea or pool view away from the loud kitchen extractor fans.
