This beach stretches for, I think, about thirty kilometers. The sand is pale yellow and very clean. I have never seen very many people on this beach. When we were there in November, the sea was calm and warm. Our favourite part is Risco del Paso, which has easy parking next to the beach (free) and a small cafe serving delicious meals and also drinks.

Sotovento beach is one of the most magnificent beaches anywhere! Is starts at Costa Calma and goes on to Jandi. The best area is accessed via the road to Risco El Paso which leads down from the main Costa Calma/Morro Jable highway to a beach bar car park. The beach goes on for ever and is naturist friendly but beware the perverts who frequent the secluded areas against the cliffs. The beach bar offers wind surfing lessons or just lazy times drinking cold beer. The inland lagoon, left when the tide goes out, is great for supervised children and the whole beach is a walkers paradise.

Visit Rene Egli Center, it is one of the greatest places for water sports in the World. The beach is sandy and wide - just great for all family.

Wide, wonderful, white sand - what more do you want? :) One of the best I've walked along and I've walked lots.

This is one of the best beaches in Fuerteventura - wide, with white sand, the entrance into the water is not steep, not many stones. There is a kite and windsurfing school near Melia hotel. Be careful about the tides - part of the beach is flooded by shallow water some time during the day and it may be hard to get back from your walk. The main tourist part of the beach is mostly swimsuits but if you get away from it a bit in either direction you'll notice many naturists too.
