We returned to this All Incl Hotel after two years. We remembered the food as being good and the situation (beach with rocky outlets for snorkelling) excellent.
The Hotel was much busier this time around, apparantly the Germans have stopped this Autumn going to Greece, Malta, Cyprus, Spain and Portugal due to the political situations - or so we were told. Trying to get a sunbed (with or without mattress) proved almost impossible after 9am altho I was only looking for a single. Restaurant was also very busy with queues forming just before opening time so that it was difficult to find a table for 2 or 4 when we dined with friends. Food was still quite good and plenty of variety - as long as you are not looking for big beefy steaks and huge chunks of chicken. Staff helpful and polite.

Room Tip: Pay extra for rooms with sea view. Internet access for 7 days costs €25 but the computers in main Ha...

we stayed here last july, and i can honestly say it was the best holiday ever, the manager of the resort is welcoming and polite, every evening he greets you as you come to dine for dinner. always asked how our day was did we do anything fun do we have any problems, this is the first for me to be greeted every evening by the hotel manager which to me showed he did have an interest in his guests.

The hotel itself is dazzlingly clean, white marble so clean, couldnt find dust! : ) The rooms are big and spacy, great sea view, and very clean, only fault no english channels barr the news :(

bar staff was on point, friendly helpful and spoke good english. where always happy and polite. The dinning staff was also on point, happy bubbly and very efficent. our waiter Juan was one in a million always made conversation always happy and he got a nice tip at the end of it. the staff i have to say made opur holiday they where great.

The entertainment was great not for me, but for familes its great, they have the entertainment staff in the afternoon where they take the kids out for a while, they would come back around 4 and do a mid afternoon sing and dance, which was always good to watch.

great range of cocktails including sangheria carvas they where the best.good local drinks. id take warm clothing at night as it does get quite cold, its a great location, only down side is the germans you would need to be up early hours to put down a towel for a sunlounger and often you would find your towel had been moved.

but apart from this i have nothing bad to say about this resort, but it is windy!

I have just returned from a weeks All Inclusive break with my 9 year old daughter and we had both a relaxing and well looked after week at the Costa Calma Beach Resort.

We booked our break through Thomas Cook - no issues althought the transfer is longer than we normally experience (1 hour fromt he airport).

The hotel is billed as 4 star (my opinion is low end as some parts of hotel do look a bit tired). The rooms were just the right size for two of us and cleaned to an exceptional level.

The hotel has three large salt water pools, one heated (just about) and three outside bars with two next to the beach. As this hotel is close to the beach its great for beach lovers and have their own fenced off part of the beach.

The daytime animiation is great and they offer riffle shooting, pingpong, darts, water polo, archery and water exercise classes. The evening entertatinment was a bit of a let-down only really lasted 45 minues and consisted of a snake show (you seen one snake you seen them all) parrot show; quiz night, disco nite etc etc

The food was expceptional with both hot and cold buffet as well as a freshly cooked to order grill. Although the restaurant does get very busy.

Plus: Pool, bars, cleaning rooms, daytime/children entertainment, easy to get sunbeds, hotel shop cheaper than town, food
Negatives: Rude elderly Germans and evening entertainment.

Room Tip: Ask for sea view

What a fantastic Holiday. Great service, great food, fantastic beach location, first class hotel.
Looking for a completly relaxing holiday we were lucky enough to find it here,as above absolutly no complaints and feel the benifit of a week in Fuerteventura.
Down sides, from our point of view none but this is a none english speaking guest hotel, which if your looking to make friends unless you speak German could be difficult, though the staff all spoke good English.

Room Tip: All rooms seem to have a sea view we were on the 4th floor, there are 8, our view was fantastic but...

I've just returned from a week at the Sunrise Costa Calma Beach Resort with my wife and 7 year old twins.

We went to Costa Calma for a beach and surf based holiday, to try and take advantage of the warm weather and sea.

The hotel has great facilities, a reasonable gym with some loose weights and racks etc. Good pools which were clean and well maintained at all times during our stay.

Access to the beach is excellent and all in all this is a good base to stay. Costa Calma provides good access to a number of beaches by car.

The one note of caution to bserve is that it isn't a good idea to go self catering in Costa Calma as the prevalence of all inclusive resorts means that there is little in the way of decent supermarkets to buy even the basics. We ate out most nights which was OK, but the best meal that we had was actually at the Costa Calma Beach Hotel, closely folllowed by the Tex-Mex/ Pizzeria just down the road.

A particulaar note should be made of the Kids Club at this hotel. Our children absolutely loved the kids club sessions and in particular the euro-pop poolside dancing at 1230 and 5pm. The entertainment focus is definitely aimed at the predominantly German/ Dutch/Italian market, the kids club staff were hugely enthusiastic and professional and the children responded extremely well.

Woodward family holiday 10th Aug 2011.
We spent two weeks at the Costa Calma Beach Resort self catering family of four inluding my 12 / 17 year old sons.

The hotel is very impressive with a large well presented reception first thoughts very good.
Our room was only a short work away located at the far right hand side of the hotel very quite which was perfect for us.

The room was basic , but very very clean with lots of open space the Air con was great oftern needed to be turned down lol.

The pool area was very clean and tidy, but the only down side was you need to get up at 07.30 to ensure you could get a sun bed close to the pool. If you left it till 08.30 the only beds left would be dotted around the beach bar and gardens. If you left it till 09.30 then all the beds would have been taken.( The hotel shows signs all round the pool to inform you you must NOT reserve sun beds, but nobody ever enforced this rule ) The pool is very clean and was lots of room never over crowded.

The beach well its fab soft sand and clear sea. The wind does from time to time blast sand down your ears and in your eyes, but 10 / 10.

We stayed self catering, but found it very very hard to find local places to eat. Costa Calma resort is set up for all inc guests. Can't even find a good old english breakfast lol, so we spent most evenings eating at the hotel for 57 euros wich was very well prices for the times we eat out the avarage meal would be 75 euros and the standard of food was only avarage at best, but the hotel food was superb lots and lots of things to choose from eat until they have to roll you out and all drinks were help your self could not fault it at all 10 / 10.

Yes the hotel is 85% Greman, but this was not a problem yes they get up at 07.00 to reserve a sun bed and yes some of them pushed in, but thats the same where ever you travel.

The hotel staff are superb never had to wait to long at the bar always had a smile.

We would return to this hotel without a moments thought, but would go all inc Top Holiday over all 10 / 10 happy days :0)

Room Tip: Very clean lots of space air con works a treat..
