Where to start! - Reception staff really helpful on the whole! - Building looking tired and needing a refurbishment. Rooms basic but comfortable - air conditioning worked fine. TV - nothing in English all German- CNN had no volume! Notice boards for tours etc - none in English, even the daily /weekly whats going on paper in German! Food was acceptable however the 'a La Carte menu is in Spanish or German - when we asked what the meals were we were told - chicken, chicken, pork, fish and chicken - how they were cooked was pot luck!!! There was one waitress who was fab, really jolly and very hard working she at least made the effort to converse where as the others seemed really miserable in their jobs! Entertainment - use the word very loosely! again German based though they did translate to English when you could hear them! The Wifi connection is so slow, The pool is salt water and we didn't get used to it! The area is totally set up for Germans and definitely not English speaking people, it is however a beautiful island, we hired a car and traveled round - Morro Jable & Corralejo are definitely the better areas for UK residents to stay. Big shout out for Extreme Trikes - they are well worth a trip. We wouldn't go to this hotel again or this area - but we would go back to the Island.

Hi there we have been to this hotel from 5 August -19 August
This place is perfect place for families and couples, very clean rooms , staff was so friendly , buffet was fantastic , everything you want for your holiday ,. Was just right to beach, so you can walk, along the beach for miles , I don't know for others , but for us was the best holiday so far

Have just stayed at Hotel Fueteventura Playa for a holiday. It's a really nice hotel, the staff are friendly and the hotel is spotless.

The food was good, make sure you visit the Tapas bar at the rear of the hotel.
There have been a few comments made about the salt water pool, after a few days you get use to it and it's fine.

It's located right on the seafront however it's a pebble beach. If you walk 500 meters to the right then you will find a beautiful sandy beach

two weeks at the playa fuerteventura hotel, the photos are very out dated this hotel is very run down and shabby, paint peeling, curtains falling down, very dirty, crawling with cockroaches , management and staff rude and unfriendly,no entertainment unless you under 5, animation team was a joke, as an adult I don't want to win a cocktail for winning musical chairs! im all inclusive!! don't go if you have booked get a refund, I went with my family ageing from 14 to 23, me and my husband are late 40s, we like you saved for months and months for our annual holiday..... shame

OK, if you book this hotel and expect a 4 star property you are going to be disappointed.
This place has aged over the years as with most hotels in area and is worn out by the constant flood of people. The price was right, so I booked all inclusive and I do not regret doing that. It is pretty far from the airport about 1-2 hours, but has a scenic drive in. THE BEACH IS STONE, not sand in front of the hotel, but with a 10-15 min walk a sand beach is available. The pool is salt water and I would rather have a salt than chlorine on my skin; the poolside chairs were reserved early, even though it was against hotel policy. The rooms are aged but are larger than most other hotels in area. Dress code for dinner not adhered too as shorts, vests and caps were allowed in. Food good on the whole. Wine dispensers very slow and coffee machines often not working. The beer pumps took some getting used to as well. The bar tenders did an exceptional job and the mixed drinks were good. The entertainment staff worked hard to keep the kids and adults entertained, but sometimes they seemed a little bit inexperienced; for example the kids disco went on without a hitch every night but the entertainment after that seemed unorganized. The Wi-fi is slow and most of the time I did not even bother trying to log in.
