“Wonderful.Location For Peace and Quiet.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 6, 2013

We have just returned from a four day break here.It was amazing and such a peaceful location. If you are looking for everything outside your front door apart from the beach, this is not for you.We found it took 10mins max to Morro Jable and 5mins max to Costa Calma by car which was not a problem for us.As we wanted peace and quiet for a few days it was ideal. The apartment was very clean staff very nice and views from our apartment was fantastic.Watching the sun rise every morning was magical. Only one small fault, there are only large glass tumblers in the kitchen so if you want your wine in a wine glass you will need to buy some,as we did.We will certainly be returning (with wine glasses ) as we had a lovely time.

Room Tip: All rooms have a sea view,so don't worry.

Wonderfull view from windows! Comfortable rooms but there are several owners (as we understood) so the assortment of cooking battery might vary. There is no restaurant and the nearest supermarket is in Costa Calma so the car is almost necessary. To get to the beach you need 15 min by foot downhill - easy but multiply the time back by 2 as it will be uphill. With a car it is 3 min. This part of island is the most windy and windsurfing station is situated here intentionaly - and the appartments place is as windy as at the windsurfing spot. Take it into account especially if you come in July and Augest. As we were there for surfing so we liked it. Wi-fi was free and achievable from our room as it was not far from swimming pool (but not from every room). By the way, there was no air-coditioner in our room but there was no need of it. In spite of all these staying in this residence was delightful. ))

Room Tip: Closer to the swimming pool as it is the internet router spot. Ask for air-conditioner if you need i...

Stayed here for 1 week from the 16th March 2013 in a one bedroom apartment which was very clean. We booked through homeaway.co.uk and dealt directly with the owner of the apartment. This process proved to be very straightforward. The apartments have unbelievable sea views. The complex itself is very well maintained with 24 hour security. The apartments are situated about a 5 min drive from Costa Calma on the FV2 to Morro Jable. Costa Calma is a 1hour drive from the airport on the FV2. The resort of Morro Jable is a further 20 minute drive away from the apartments. A hire car is absolutely essential.
I would have given the apartments 5 stars if it were not for the the access road. The apartments are situated on the side of a hill and the access road is VERY rocky and VERY rough although this seems to be common throughout the island particularly if you want to access areas close to the sea.
We drove down to the beach at Morro Jable the first couple of days. Fantastic beach but can be a bit busy. If you want a quieter beach go to Risco Del Paso which is a 10 minute drive towards Morro Jable. It is fantastic and far quieter than Morro Jable. There is a bar and restaurant there as well as windsurf rentals.
All in all I would definitely recommend Residencial Playa Paraiso!!

Room Tip: All apartments have fantastic sea views!!

We stayed 2 weeks there in august 2012: we're a family with 2 children. We stayed in an aprtment with one bedroom, but was perfect: nice, clean, amazing view, comfortable. You need a car because supermarket and beaches are not close. We recommend this place to stay in a peaceful place close to windsurf beaches.

Just got back today from Fuerteventura. Better do this now...We stayed for 2 weeks and the view from our apartment was just stunning. We could see Costa Calma and the Esmiralda Beach with the windsurfing and kitesurfing of Rene Egli Center 1. There's chipmunks running about on the scrub land in between that will jump in your bag for food they are so tame or daring. Our apartment was brilliant as it had everything, including a washing machine so you could take 3 t-shirts and a pair of swimming shorts and that's about all you need. The kitchen was well appointed so we managed to cook some great meals and avoided eating out mainly for our budget but also just because we could relax at the apartment, eat good food cheaply with great views. There's plenty of shops eg Spars and HipoDinos. The windsurfing is excellent with beginner, intermediate and advanced locations. We, who never go to the same place twice are going to break the habit of a lifetime and actually go back next year all being well.

Room Tip: I think all rooms would be equally good I would imagine.

We stayed here during one week in July 2012.

Plusses
Close to the beaches (by car)
The appartments are quite cosy, and really looking like in the pictures.
Amazing view
Nice pool

Minuses
The wind in July was horrible. The residence is situated on top of a cliff and very exposed. You cannot open the door of your car, when parked in the open parking because of the strength of the wind. Strong whissle in the windows that prevent you to sleep. Maybe this is better in winter when winds are weaker. But be careful.
Some basic equipments are missing : in the kitchen no kettle, not enough plates, no bowls. Appt for 5, but only 4 chairs etc ...

I would definitely stay there again. Everything you need is provided and you are close to a shopping center with a nice little restaurant that serves delicious tapas. My only complaint is the parking situation. There aren't enough parking spaces and it can be difficult to maneuver your way out. It's peaceful and isolated, but that comes at a cost. It can be cumbersome to find because there are no paved roads to the hotel and the sign is easy to miss.
