“The home of the man who made Lanzarote what it is today”
Reviewed August 13, 2013

An extraordinary house built into lava caves, furnished and exhibiting some of Cesar Manrique's designs as well as other works of art. Nicely landscaped garden too.

“Great for adults but not a bored teenager”
Reviewed August 12, 2013

My wife and I loved the place but our teenage daughter was not so impressed. A leisurely viewing can be completed in about an hour. It would have been nice to have a proper sit down cafe for a coffee after the visit.

“Truly impressive”
Reviewed August 11, 2013

The whitewashed walls and the fact it was built into the volcanic rock, some paintings too. An inexpensive café and a good gift shop.

“Can see everything in 10 mins :(”
Reviewed August 8, 2013 via mobile

Although a stunning house made entirely in a lava flow its not very interesting kids were bored and cannot touch anything ( as its a museum ) so think its over priced for the content , would love to live in it but bored on visit !
