nice and central apartment complex, clean and very convenient to the beach. One bedroom, large room with kitchen area and private bathroom, tv (not that I watched it, but still). I really liked the setting of the bungalows and the staff is very nice and helpful. the swimming pool is a nice plus. totally enjoyed it!

We have only rated this as average for the studios just because they were very dated, few tiles were broken on the floor and were sharp, bath had small hairline crack and didn't feel very safe to stand in when showering. Having said that it did not bother us as it was clean and we are only in room to sleep and shower and maybe have breakfast and if we went to Costa Teguise again we would stay here.
Whatever the time we were in we got the sun on one of our balconies, ideal for breakfast overlooking the sea or just to relax on the balcony after walking.
The Receptionists were always cheerful and helpful and felt very comfortable staying here.
The pool was very small but always clean but extremely cold, had a couple of swims but only in for about 5 mins. ( definately too cold for children).
Ideal location for beaches, walkways round the coast and into the hills.
When we arrived all we saw was English/Irish bars, all you can eat Chinese/Indian restaurants and looked a bit tacky- this is not our thing- but too our nice suprise there are some lovely Tapas Bars and other very good restaurants around, this is what we found:

La Cochino Cojo Tapas - was very good and had Iberico Ham, excellent food and service
La Table- in a small square just past the Hertz Garage - Tapas bar family run, no menu and very personel service.
La Voca Loca- Argintinian Restuarant - had Ox steak and salsa - only small but food excellant and good friendly service.
Bacchus - Lovely food and service - good fresh fish.
Pablos - large restuarant but food very good.
Divinia Italia- was recommended to go here as always busy and sometimes needed to book. - Found this food to look very nice but food not very tasty and overpriced.
We hired a car to see the island and the volcanos and lava fields.
Overall we would not hesitate to stay in Costa Teguise again and at the Celeste.

Room Tip: We asked for a balcony in the sun and we got 2 balconies. Top floors are best some of the lower flo...

If you want to be in the heart of Costa Teguise with all the bars and restaurants on your doorstep then this is the place. we normally stop about 10 mins walk away but decided to take a chance on these apts as we took my elderly father and didnt want too much walking distance away. the apts are a little tired and could do with a bit of TLC but, most of the apts we have stayed in at costa teguise have been similar, but for what you pay it is a bargain.. For the FOODIES, dont miss going to see Nancy at GOLDEN CITY chinese buffet.. 4.50 euro for all u eat, every year i end up putting half a stone on.. ALSO plz try AMBER II INDIAN Restaurant, its upstairs from golden city.. he only opened up a few months ago and the food is lovely and he is a nice bloke. 5.95 euro gets you a 3 course meal or he does another for 9.95 euro with more choice.. YOU WILL NOT LEAVE HUNGRY.. looking forward to sept to visit Lanzarote again. Adios

Room Tip: block 3 is adults only, so if no kids then would recommend

As a base, the Celeste Apartments are in a prime location. Within a few minutes walk you have plenty of places to eat, drink and shop. The beach is also close, just a short walk down a hill and steps. This may be a bit difficult if you have mobility problems but you can go a longer way round on the flat. The apartments are quite small but have everything you need. The pool area is small but clean and doesn't become overcrowded. All the staff are friendly, cheerfull and will do what thay can to make you feel comfortable. It's not a 5*, but its not 5* prices.

Celeste appts and surrounding gardens and pool were spotless. 5minutes walk to beach shops restaruants. and bus stop. All the basics provided can also hire lots of equipment eg hairdryers irons(who irons on holidays ) buggys high chair all at a reasonable price. Courtesy room and luggage storage was great as we had a late flight so were able to shower and relax.would not hesitate to book these appts again.

Room Tip: we had room 321 in adults only section pool was outside the door and no stairs to climb so good for...

Returned from a holiday staying here on the 14 Feb this year, yes the weather was dreadful, cold and very windy (from the North ) but that can not be helped.
What could be though would for these very basic apts to have a portable heater in case of such happenings, that aside, these apts could do with a major revamp, we went there for a friends 70th Birthday, I emailed the Celeste and requested a really nice room for the 4 of us as it was a special occasion, I got the email back saying they would try hard to honour my request, they must have dismissed the email out of hand because we put in a pokey corner apt, my friends wife was quite upset so I went to the Reception and asked why? they gave me the keys for 128, no sun at all (when it was out) on the terrace, the place was freezing !
I also requested WI-FI as we had bought our friend a Samsung tablet for his birthday, this worked out at almost 40 Euros for the 2 weeks !!!
as the weather was so inclement , we were 'in' a lot more than 'out' , warning, you have to "hire" a remote to get Sky News or CNN News, when it did get sunny and hot (5 days) you were required to "hire" the cushion for the sun loungers,
We would never go here again even though it is very central for everything, to us, this is a down market place, the maid who come to clean was a nice cheery lady but that's all

Room Tip: Go somewhere else
