Just come back from a 10 night stay at the Celeste. It is the 5th time staying there. They actually put us in a 2 bed apartment which was in Block 1, room 115, upstairs. Great for the sunshine from sunrise to sunset, private balcony to get that all over suntan. The apartments are basic but they are clean and you have everything you need. The staff are very friendly and helpful. As we had a late return flight we were lucky enough to keep our room on until late afternoon for 22 euros which was brilliant. You are very central to the shops and bars around and the beach so all in all a good base to be.

Room Tip: Room 115 upstairs for the sun. Also 123 looked a good room

another lovely stay in the celeste apartments. basic but very clean and everything u need. lovely pool and private area to sunbathe if you are in an upper apartment. near the bars restaurants shops and beach. very friendly and helpful staff at reception. cant fault them at all. have stayed in 4* apartments in carmen before and they were terrible and the celeste apartments are only 2* but are by far the best and would not go anywhere else. will be back again next year.

Room Tip: try and get an apartment up the stairs as they are private and massive patio area's with sunbeds...

Just back from the Celeste booked through "on the beach" - However now I've been I would book the flights & hotel direct next time and just jump in a taxi as its only 10 mins away from the airport - The transfer took 30 mins to get there with all the other stops - transfers can also be booked separately if you contact the hotel direct they will give you details its only 10 euros return.

The accomdation was clean as was the whole resort so I was pleasently surprised especially when taking into account the cost of the holiday - Yes decor was a bit tired, there wasnt a hair dryer & the mattress was hard, however the accommodation was spacious & clean and was definately worth every penny.

I was in apart 133 (theres a map on the celeste website of accommodation) from what I could see all terraces faced into the complex which was surrounds by a 10 foot wall and an iron gate which we were given keys for .. very secure. Some of the 2 bedroom apartments also had terraces facing the beach (those on the 1st floor). The terraces were all enslosed and large enough for table , chairs and 2 sunbeds ... great location too and some nice tapa near

I emailed the hotel and asked for an upstairs accom which they managed to accomodate .. thanks .. Staff were pleasant and the receptionist spoke really good english. Initial problem with electricity but it was just a case of switching the control on at the wall.

I would definately go back for a cheapie holiday

Only very basic but very clean and when we reported a problem the maintenance man was round in 20 minutes. We had three balconies which was great. The apartment was not very well stocked but then we knew it was only basic and the price reflected this. No hairdryer, iron, or grill but we managed. Very quiet although in the middle of Costa Teguise and we are booked to go back again in a few weeks. My husband's main complaint was the size of the TV so small and so high up on the wall that we couldn't really see it.

Just got back from a weeks stay we did have a lovely holiday and celeste apartments are in a great position but we were just very disappointed with our apartments 121 and 122 . There was such a lovely vibe as we arrived very excited going past all the lovely apartments and terraces around the pool, beautiful flowers and plants and then we went off round the back to our rooms. Our view was a white wall and metal bars with a prison feel far from the sea view or pool view we had imagined there was also an awful smell of drains a rusty bath and broken cots with ripped mattresses. we asked to be moved to be told we were in a second grade apartment and so we were getting what we paid for !! we booked with travel republic and were never made aware it would be second grade apartment just something to be aware of all of the other rooms look so lovely make sure you request the rooms you would like before you travel.

Been to the celeste 3 times in the last 18 months . Yeah people have said that the decor is dated and it is in some respects but for what you pay its is excellent value for money . we have stayed in the couples only section of the apartments on our visits and was lucky enough last year to get an upstairs room with seaview, we emailed the owner prior to going again this year to ask if i could get that room again and was surprised that when we arrived we did indeed get the room we asked for (307 by the way) the reception staff are very helpfull , speak excellent english never surly and always happy to help. the appartments are ideally located for easy access to las cucharas beach which is about 120mtrs away , Restaraunts and bars are close by but not too close to cause sleepless nights.. Going back at christmas if we can .

Room Tip: As i said in my reveiw , always worth emailing in advance the apartments to ask for a specific room...
