went to these apartments last year over new year(2011-2012) apartment was in a good position, poolside, had toaster, kettle all included, all in all very satisfied for the price, location great, so decided to take son and his family(7 in total) booked same room and adjioning room only to find these had been taken over by a german agency for their exclusive use only, and we were allocated rooms on the other side of the complex, well what a differance ,curtains hanging off the rails, bath been given a coat of what looked like emulsion, cupboard door hanging off, no toaster, no kettle tv has to be paid for as well as internet access etc, all in all very disappionted with the place

I read all the reviews before we went for the Xmas break and was not really looking forward to it as I had only paid £200 for the week for a self catering double room. I hadn't got high expectations at that price anyway and i was pleasantly surprised. Yes, there was a painted bath but it was clean as was the rest of the accommodation. Sheets/towels were changed regularly. Again yes, it did need a little tlc but i have stayed at places in Greece much worse than this. The most amazing thing was our balcony had a sea view! Room 238E if anyone's interested. Bar staff/reception staff helpful and friendly. Two beaches within about 3 minutes walk. Didn't eat there so can't comment but the drinks at the pool bar are cheap. As to the nonsense about the area partitioned off for the Germans - yes they have got an area which has a coded entry but there is another area opposite which is just as nice which anyone can use. A German company has bought up some of the apartments and i imagine those holidaymakers are paying probably £200 for one night never mind a week so they are welcome to their perks. We had a lovely time and if you have not been to Costa Teguise before its a good complex to start at being right on the seafront. Best beach is Bastian, its bigger, quieter, has toilets and several snack bars nearby.

Room Tip: 240E has a front sea view

We stayed for Xmas , i was dreading it before we went as i had read the reviews on here!!
Yes it could do with a complete refurb! The food got very repetitive, but eating out is very cheap..
No problem with the drinks no different to any other A/I hotel.
Location is Fab.
Rooms ok not the best, ok for a week..
CT, is a very quiet resort, wouldnt rush back..

This was a very cheap package, but this is because the hotel makes its money in other cunning ways.

Kettle. You pay for it
Iron. You pay for it
Internet. You pay for it
Use of laundry facilities. You pay for it.
Hair dryer. You pay for it.
Beach towel. You pay for it.
Etc etc

All these costs build up and you really realise that you should have paid a bit more.

Rooms also appear not to have been repaired since the 1990s. Mould. Rust. Ants. Wires having off the walls. And reception is one of the most depressing places on earth.

But as I said at the start, caters very much for the bottom end of the market and it is cheap.

One good point- good salads.

Room Tip: There is a set of rooms with no pool or sea view in the centre of the resort. These are the worst by far with very limited sunlight. -probably not a great idea.

We have just returned from costa teguise once again, went to the same apartments we have used for the last five visits we have made to Lanzarote, sorry to say some German company has now taken over and have made some inprovements to the now named blue sea costa teguise beach, formaly the punta jabillio, the complex is still stunning but there apartments really do leave a lot to be desired, having stay in every part of this complex through the years we have never until now been so disappointed with the facillites in the apartments, we booked self catering, do not try this as there is no way you could possibly cook anything on the two rings that are in the apartments, the shower a lot to be desired, if you can take a shower in 30 seconds you will be fine, hot water gone after that,so sorry to see this happening to this complex as i would have never before this hesitated to recommend these apartments to anyone, such a shame, must say it did not ruin our holiday in any way as it is still very resonable to eat out, and the weather for the three weeks we were there over christmas and new year was fantastic. Avoid blue sea costa teguise beach unless you book all inclusive then you will be treated like a queen only problem being that people we met on all inclusive were not at all impressed with the food, so be warned.

Room Tip: if you book all inclusive you have won a watch with the apartments as long as you get a sea view if not you get all the old apartments that really do need some tender loving care, such a shame.
