“Fantastic hotel, Brilliant holiday !”
Reviewed October 2, 2013 via mobile

Spent eleven nights there 15th to 26th Sept, loved everything the hotel had to offer. Would definately go back again.
Daniel on entertainment team was a star and made our holiday more enjoyable with his great smile and brilliant sense of fun. He is an asset to the hotel.
Food, rooms, facilities all good, spa an excellent aspect and my sister and I loved that we could use it as part of the all inclusive deal.
If any improvement could be made would be the evening entertainment which wasn't as good as it could be.
Overall brilliant time, excellent facilities, pools, pool bar and restaurant, beautiful hotel, deserving of its 4 stars !.

Had a fabulous 11 night stay. Beautiful hotel and great food. Special mention for Daniele the entertainment rep. Its a pity you couldn't bottle and sell him - you would be a millionaire. Would definitely go again

We've just come back from this hotel and we loved it. We were staying half-board.

Yes, it is a little "tired" in places - but it's clean and the staff are lovely.
Yes, the musical entertainment in the evening can be a little cheesy - so go and sit in the quiet piano bar instead, or go out.
Yes, the "animation" around the pool can be a little noisy, but it's fun. Move back to the sunloungers nearer to the hotel and you won't find it so intrusive.
Yes, it's a little way out of town but you know what? When you're sitting on your bum all day around a gorgeous salt-water pool then a little exercise doesn't go amiss.
Yes, that first bit of Teguise you come to when you walk into town is a bit grotty. Walk further and you'll find it gets nicer.

What we loved:
Personalised waiter service and very friendly. (if you're going to get a strop on at breakfast because the toaster isn't working quite as fast as you think it should then perhaps you should get a life).
Lots of choice at breakfast and dinner. Food was very good, and the themed nights were also interesting!
Big comfy beds, clean linen and towels, double basins in the bathroom.
A better shower than we have at home!
Clean salt-water pool (very cold) and a slightly warmer "activity" pool.
Very few tiny children.
Three friendly "hotel cats" (don't panic, they live outside).

What we didn't like:
The only free wi-fi is in the reception area (you have to pay if you want it in your room) and it's a bit hit-and-miss to say the least BUT..... we don't go on holiday to "surf the net" so it didn't bother us.

All in all, fab holiday and excellent value for money. Go.

Room Tip: If you know you're going to want early quiet nights request a quiet room, but worse case scenari...

First of all I honestly don't understand people moaning about the location of the hotel, because it is clearly stated everywhere, that it is located out of town, which is for me (and for many other guests as well) is more of an advantage. You may have to take the hotel bus or the rented car to go to the center, but I have never stayed in such a tranquil and quiet hotel. I slept with the terrace doors open every evening and there was absolutely nothing waking me up in the mornings. The staff was great, always polite and doing their job with a smile. We stayed half board and the food was also very nice with a wide variety of dishes, and dirty plates where always picked up immediately from the tables.

Yes, it is an old fashioned hotel, and rooms are a bit dated but who wants to stay in the room when you have incredible swimming pools in the garden? Anyway the rooms were clean with comfy beds and the hotel has a very nice atrium with a cascade and palm trees so even if it’s not the newest resort in town, it is still a very nice place to stay. What people should understand is that for this price this is a great 4 star hotel and it is not fair to compare it with other more expensive ones. I really think that this is a great place to spend a peaceful holiday and it is perfectly located to discover the island.

This hotel has changed Management and I had food poisoning and a few weeks before I arrived 3 of the restaurants had been closed down. The location is in the middle of nowhere - it is a good 20 mins walk to a Resort with just seedy pubs and no reputable restaurants. I used to travel when I did no have tummy troubles - by 2 buses or taxi bus to the other Resort 1 hour away daily to try to sample local dishes - only managed to find an exceptional Italian Restaurant. This hotel has no Soul to it and is the most boring hotel I have ever stayed at. I requested high floor quiet and got low ground over the children's Disco. The ENTERTAINMENT was so poor - I Know the birdy song off by heart. I often cleaned my own room. An empty hotel in an empty space with Staff that have no passion for their work. Needs updating too and as for the Resort what on earth do you do?

Room Tip: HIGH UP far end away from the kids Disco.

I travelled with my partner and his grandparents for a week from the 12th sep. This was the grandparents first time abroad so we wanted to go to a hotel that had everything on site.

We checked in at 11pm and were offered a cold meal. We refused it but it was a nice offer. When we got into our room it was huge with a large private balcony. Everything was spotless. We got new towels and bed sheets everyday, even when we never asked for them.

The food in the hotel was brilliant in the restaurant and the themed buffet. They had something different every single night. Was great since I was travelling with fussy eaters but we enjoyed every meal. Especially desserts where they have a wide selection of cakes and ice creams.

The evening entertainment often and a singer on to start with and then a show but if you want a quieter evening then the piano bar is a great place to just sit and relax at night. Please take note that they will only serve you at the piano bar if you stand next to the till.

The hotel has a hairdressers and a few little souvenir shops which is handy for presents for family back home.

Spa is well worth a vist they have a circuit, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. Free for all inclusive. We went for a couples massage cost €70 and the fancy baths they offer start at €26. You come smelling and felling fantastic.

The hotel is about 15 minute to beach and local shops, bars etc. or a taxi cost €8 return.

All the staff in this hotel work very hard working and always keep themselves very busy. They were polite, helpful and very informative. They all speak Spanish and English.

Overall we had a great time and we would return to this hotel.
