First impressions of the hotel...great, very large spacious. If only they emloyed enough staff to run it!! Rooms are spacious and kept very clean, all rooms overlooking the pool area which is very nice. We were all inclusive, food very good, could of been hotter is my only complaint. The staff were the most miserable people I have ever come across in all my years of holidaying abroad! We had our 8yr old son and mother and father in law with us also. The tables were changed after each use but, they did not clean the floors properly from one day to another. The pool area was very nice but not enough sun loungers for the amount of people there (there was loads of space for more, and not on top of each other). My main disappointment was....can you believe there was no where to sit outside on a night time!!!!!! This is one of the main reasons we holiday abroad, so we can enjoy the outdoors! Instead we had to sit in one of two bars downstairs, one a piano bar, very spacious but very hot ( aircon, but they would not put it on), or the very very crowded entertainment bar which was jam packed and so hot you felt sick! Dont know what they are thinking about! its obviously a staff shortage thing.
Come on Beatriz staff and owners get your act together or you will loose your business...

Travelled as two families (9 people) for the first two weeks of August and had a fantastic, relaxing break. We arrived after 9:30 p.m. due to flight delays and were surprised and pleased to be told by Reception that they had prepared a meal for us even though the dining room was closed. Rooms were spacious and cleaned on a daily basis including towels and bedding. The food was excellent and if you could not find something from the selection available then you must be a renowned "fussy eater" and would not be happy no matter what was put in front of you. The Staff were brilliant and worked tirelessly with a smile on their face. On one of the feedback forms at breakfast we suggested an improvement may be to provide coffee and tea making facilities in the room and by the time we got back from the pool that afternoon we had them in our room with the compliments of the Hotel Director. The day time activities were organised and promoted well and Daniel, Ildy and Ellis were engaging, enthusiastic and great fun and really made our holiday a pleasure. We had a concern about the sunbeds following some comments on here but as a family of nine we never made the pool until after breakfast so usually about 10:00 and NEVER failed to secure nine sunbeds together close to the pool and bar and I am astounded to see any comments from people who were out there at the same time stating this was an issue. I do think people come on here sometimes just to moan and maybe if they stop looking for faults they may enjoy their holiday more ;)

Would definitely return :)

Room Tip: Ground Floor OR any room that is on the Piano Bar side of the Hotel.

Myself and my girlfriend stayed here on our first holiday away together and we loved every minute of it. The hotel itself was amazing, we loved the spa and the Piano bar area was relaxing on an evening as well. Staff were nice and helpful, and the food was good.

Only negative points that we picked out was that the evening entertainment was terrible, and the bar man refused to sell us international brand drinks because we were all inclusive, even though we offered to pay for them.

All in all, a great holiday and would love to go back again.

I visited this hotel 1st August for a week all inclusive with my partner and my 8 year old son. We arrived ar 10 pm and had a lovely welcome. They told us to come back down at 10.30 as they had prepared an evening meal for all the late arrivals. The rooms were outstanding and were cleaned with clean towels and bedding everyday. The variety of food throughout my holiday was fantastic, and was always hot. We were always greeted with a smile everytime we went to eat and also from other hotel staff even down to the maids. There was allways plenty of sunbeds available thats if you wasnt fussy where you wanted to sit. The pool was cleaned every morning and the area around the pool was spotless. There was a good variety of drinks hot or cold and if we did need to queue it was only for 2 minutes approx. Tennis and mini golf is available free of charge. The entertainment every night was great, and also the piano bar was a great place to go and have a quiet evening. The only downside was they could have had more activities throughout the day for children, activities throughout the day were for adults only. We alsohad a room on the 5th floor which is quite high so i would highly recommend with children to request one on a lower floor, the balcony was quite high. On our depature day we had to be out of our room at 12 and we were able to use a room to shower but we made sure the day before we had a allocated time to use it. We went as a family and this is one of the best hotels ive stayed in. This hotel is definately a 4 star everything about it. I would definately go back. I think some people just go to hotels to find fault in them!!!! This hotel is excellent.

I have just arrived home having been for a relaxing holiday with 5 friends and we stayed in this marvelous hotel. Do not take any notice of bad reviews. This is an amazing hotel, spacious, well presented, clean, relaxing, entertaining, with lovely and hardworking staff that create the most special ambience. The food was lovely, plenty of choice with additional choice on themed nights-there was to many choices sometimes but all lovely. The spa is just magnificent, if your allinclusive take the opportunity to use the facility it is one brilliant excperience. It is situated a step back from the town but it is close enough to walk to the centre and beach or why not take the free bus that is offered at the hotel at different times of the day. We had a great holiday thanks to this hotel and thomas cook and some excursions, would love to go back tomorrow!!!!! It is a 4* + and more!

We were 3 adults with 3 very young children.

Good points:
Relatively cheap
Large open spaces the children liked
Glass lifts the children liked
At the start of the "salt trail" walk to Teguise, ~2 hour walk - not a walk for young children though
Efficient reception desk staff (although they don't crack a smile)
Room was pretty large - I had children with me in a suite

Bad points:
No concierge to help with luggage (we had 6 cases)
Room was a long walk away from lifts
Low quality buffet food
Poor drinks service at meals - dining staff are very overworked
Unprofessional cleaning staff - our maid put bog brush on our carpet floor!
Largely crap entertainment - one wild birds show was basically just to charge for photos afterwards
Poor childrens activities
Queues for bar drinks
20 min walk from the beach
Pay for all extras (wifi 7€/day 20€/week, towels, minibar...) - although base cost is low
Little shade around pool area
Shorter buffet dining hours than some other hotels
~70tf drop from the walkway to the room over a wall I thought children may climb on if unsupervised

Overall this is a bog standard package holiday hotel where all the costs have been pared to the bone. We were really only using it as a base to then explore Graciosa, Timanfaya, the caves etc and it's fine for that with children as long as you don't expect gourmet food.

If you can afford the extra and want to spend more time at the hotel then much better options by far are Gran Melia Salinas (Costa Teguise). Princessa Yaiza (Playa Blanca), Atlantis Bahia (Corralejo, Fuerteventura - very nice & tranquil hotel) or the Sheraton (Caleta de Fuste, Fuerteventura - v good for young children). If you're still on a package holiday budget a much better bet is the Gran Melia Palacio de Isora in Tenerife but you need to book through Thomson who call it "Sensatori" to get the best deal at the time of writing.

Room Tip: Away from area over main ents arena if you want to sleep earler

the hotel is one of the biggest i have stayed in, we stayed on the 5th floor and had a view mainly of the tennis courts but we hardly used the balcony so it was not a problem. we stayed for 2 weeks all inclusive the food never failed each day was a huge selection very impressive. the staff all very friendly and the entertainment was good and you were never hassled to get involved in activities if you didnt want to join in. you do have to get up early to get a sunbed but again it was no problem unless you were away from the sunbed a long time (hours) the attendant would remove your towels for new guests, the beach is only a 15 minute walk away along with bars etc, the beaches arnt great so we stayed by the pool mostly but is's lovely to go out and take a look around costa teguise.. overall a really nice hotel and really enjoyed a relaxing 2 weeks ;-)
