We had a 14 day honeymoon at this hotel and it was FANTASTIC !! The hotel was beautiful to look at,including a waterfall to look at while eating dinner, exremely clean and tidy, friendly,English speaking helpful staff at all levels and a thoroughly relaxing and romantic holliday. The food was good, the spa was wonderful and we honestly could not find anything to complain about ! We were slightly worried about iffy reviews we had read, but had nothing to worry about. We told the travel agent we booked with that we were on honeymoon and the first day champagne and fruit was sent to our room. Lovely touch and much appreciated. Thank you for making our honeymoon a wonderful ,relaxing experience .

We booked 5 weeks before departure date, booked with Thomas Cook and had a really good service from them, got it resonably well priced too. We went for 7 nights, all inclusive.

Apperance - Good from outside however could do with a lick of paint but overall really nice pool and hotel.
Location - Out of the way, 15 - 20 minute walk from any entertainment / shops etc however taxi is only 2 - 4euro's. Regular bus service but we never used it. Good 45 minute walk from centre with lots of shops, restaurants and bars. 15 - 20minute walk from number one family fun pub Cactus Jacks (really fun, lively, enjoyable pub.
Hotel - Reception was nice, lots of hanging plants, customer service over reception wasnt brilliant.
Room - We stopped in room 451, on entering the room was greeted with a nice, clean room. Good sized room, lots of wardrobe space etc.
Pool - Three pools, one was meant to be heated, which is wasnt. All pools salt water.
Restaurants - The restaurant was good for the first few nights however on the first night we were greeted on the door to be told that my partner had to change from shorts into his trousers and after only bringing one pair of trousers this was disappointing as we were never informed about this dress code when booking (we had searched a number of website and it didnt state this dress code anywhere) At the evening meal there were a number of people who were dressed in tracsuit bottoms and scruffy t-shirts which we found very annoying!!
Food - Food at the evening meal waas good for the first few nights having themed nights however after the third night the hotel had the same food over and over and over again which was again very disappointing. The pool side food was cold when we got it to the table and hardly any choice.
Spa - the spa was good, we had free use of the spa as we were all inclusive which was nice - visit the spa as it is well worth it especially on a dull day.
Entertainment - the entertainment on a night was often very dull, same singers three times a week, parrot shows, reptial shows however some entertainment was very good.

OVERALL - Nice hotel, out of way, needs updating, customer service needs improving. Some people have really rated this hotel however we wouldnt return.

Room Tip: Get a high room with sea / pool view.

My wife & I stayed here for a week at the end of April 2012 and enjoyed every minute of it. We were after something quiet & relaxing in the sun, away from the usual holiday crowds etc and the Beatriz delivered in style. I've stayed in many 4-star hotels in the UK and abroad on business, and can say that this hotel is just as good as any of them, and much better than many in London.
The room was spacious and clean, with excellent sea views. The public areas are outstanding, with a huge atrium divided into three areas, the most spectacular being the one with an indoor waterfall and a stream running through it. Outside, the pool area is clean and well maintained with an on-site cafe bar, although the pools are not heated so you have to be brave to swim early in the season. The Spa is excellent, with many water treatments and sauna, steam room etc. My wife was very impressed.
We went all-inclusive, and the food was uniformly very good. The hotel has done an excellent job catering to the palettes of the majority of european people who stay there - not an easy trick to pull off in my experience. The all inclusive wines were acceptable and as good as the house wine you'd get in an average UK restaurant. Other inclusive drinks were of good, local quality.
The staff were efficient, helpful and friendly, but not over familiar. In particular it was good to see the restaurant staff properly attired in suits, waistcoats & chefs outfits as appropriate. A real hark back to the best of the past. The nightly free entertainment was OK, particularly the ABBA tribute band, but of course attendance is not mandatory.
So, if like us you are an older couple who want a great value for money break away from the crowds, with a touch of old fashioned service, look no further.

Room Tip: All rooms face the sea and have balconies, but the ones on the higher floors are quieter during the...

I booked a short four day holiday through Barrhead travel for my wifes 50th birthday, it was our first time at this area of Lanazarote and to this hotelm unfortunately we flew with Ryan air which is in my opinion a rip off company (cost £12 for two drinks on the plane this worked out more expensive than two drinks in the Crointhian in Glasgow)
On arrival I was impressed by the design of the hotel with its large reception and spacious lounging areas. We received our room cards and found our room on the fifth floor (I asked for a high floor and was good to see this was catered for) was very nice with a good pool view. We initially went for half board the first two days however the upgrade to all inclusive woked out to 20 euros each per day which also allowed you access to the spa centre each day, this was therefore well worth the additional costs and is to be recommended.
The food was plentiful and very good, we found the house wine of a reasonable standard when we joined the all inclusive package. The area of Costa Teguise is windy and the location of the hotel does require a walk into the main town area, this was pleasent enough for us but older and less able may find this qute a task. We as a couple did like the location of the hotel as it provided access to the nearby open hill paths, which is a hobby of ours and enabled us to work off our excessive eating and wine nights. The pool area is very impressive but the excessive wind did create a cold atmosphere when the sun goes behind the clouds. I would go back o this hotel as it does have the qualities I like in a hotel, however I do not think it is a hotel for a long two week break, I would say a short break is sufficient as the entertainment looked as though it was quite repetative.

Room Tip: 521was a good view

Got put up here by jet 2 due to flight delay. Hotel looks very grand but that's where it ends, food was good but rooms a bit basic and some corridors go on and on and you need to plan ahead when going out for timed events as on the 6 th floor at the end of the hotel a 2 minute walk to lifts and then 10 minutes in lift que. paying for towel use in pool area a bit strange even on all inclusive and the pool waterfall apparantley broke a few years ago and has never been fixed.
Staff on the whole not bad as for location it's the last hotel for a long way out and they do run a shuttle bus to town .
Out of choice I would not book this as far better near front and in other resorts despite its star rating

Our first experience at an all inclusive and have already recommended to friends and family.

Didn't really know what to expect from this style of holiday but all I can say is we will be visiting again. 7 days is the perfect amount of time to visit and book with confidence.

Well proportioned rooms and immaculate external areas. Excellent variety of food and caters for most peoples needs and requirements.

I would only write a review if I felt it would assist someone in making a decision and hope this goes some way to do that.

Hopefully see you in the not to distant future hotel Beatriz!

We stayed from the 15 March -29 March and enjoyed our stay. This is the sixth or seventh time we have stayed at this hotel but it has recently changed hands. The sparkle seems to have disappeared but we were told by some of the staff that the dinning room is due to be refurbished July/Aug this year. Maybe something to bear in mind. The pool is great with plenty of sunbeds. There are two pool areas, one is unheated and the other, although still quite cold does have some heating. Once you have taken the first plunge it does become very enjoyable. We can recommend the piano bar at night and did not bother with the other entertainment as it wasn't great.

Not long after arrival a member of staff delivered a bottle of wine in an ice bucket along with a plate of fresh fruit. This is a gesture of thanks from the management to guests that have stayed in the hotel previously. The bedrooms are clean and comfortable with towels replaced daily. The food is good but becomes a little repetative after 2 weeks. The theme nights used to be a lot better with more variety of food. It was great to see the new manager of the hotel so active and taking a personal interest in the views of the guests.

Mandy's Wee Snug in the Pueblo Marinero square at Teguise is highly recommended and on Fridays nights there is also a market. The live music from the band stand is great and well worth the walk/taxi to the Square. The Square has plenty of places to eat and drink with a great steak to be had (at a price) at El Patio. The steak is sold by weight and is very costly.

We had a great holiday and will definitely return to see the improvements the new management have made.
