“Fantastic Again”
Reviewed September 7, 2010

Just returned from another fantastic stay at Lanzarote Gardens, we were there from Aug 26th - Sept 6th and cant wait to go back Went for the 1st time this May and had a brilliant time, this time was even better. So pleasing to see families that we had met before and also to meet lots of new ones and our daughter had a great time in the mini club and at the mini disco. The animation team are out of this world and work so hard and all genuinely enjoy what they are doing, so a big THANK YOU to Baz, Emi. Super Mario, Thomas, Tangerina, Steffi, Leo, Gabi, Dani, and all the team. And thank you to ALL the staff at the hotel especially Lita and Miguel.
There is a lovely beach just across the road from the hotel and plenty of shops and bars in the resort, if you are looking for a family holiday then visit Lanzarote Gardens, you will have a great time!

So happy we picked this hotel. Read all the reviews before going and agreed with most, the entertainment staff were so nice and really funny. My children 5 and 8 didnt want to go into the kids club but that didn't matter as the pool is great even though a bit cold, some days the team put floats etc in pool which was good fun then another day a bouncy castle was put up and a little fete was arranged it was really nice. The beach is a couple of minutes walk over the road and is perfect. There are 2 parks at the hotel one for smaller children and one for older. The rooms were spacious and clean. Staff lovely. Food we thought was nice, lots of choice and really tasty. We didn't stay to watch many shows only 3 of them but they were excellent, we like to go for a walk in the evening and there was always a place to walk to which ever way you went out of the hotel. Lots of resturants and bars and everyone was child friendly. Hired a car for 3 days and saw the volcanoes and other places of interest this was a nice break in the middle of our 2 weeks. Went to the waterpark which did cost a fortune 70 pound for 2 adults and 2 children but I guess all waterparks are this dear and we had a good time there and the kids loved it. Just go for the whole day to get your moneys worth. We were asked at the door if we wanted to pay for sunbeds we said no and inside we just sat on empty ones no one said anything. It was really quiet and a good day out. Overall loved Costa Teguise and this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to go back.

I have just returned from a weeks (11th-17th Aug) All inclusive holiday to the H10 Lanzarote Gardens. I travelled in a group of 18, including my mum, aunt, brother and family, sister and family, and my own family. There were 10 children in all, ages ranging from 13 years to 3 years old. I must say that as a group we are quite over powering and I was worried about that before we travelled ! However, we could not have picked a better hotel to accommodate us.
First impressions were of a clean and bright reception area. The reception staff are welcoming, friendly and spoke perfect English. There was always plenty of staff available to talk too and assist us. The kids spent plenty of time coming in and out of the reception area, to play on one of the pool tables (there are 5 in all dotted around the complex) and the reception staff were always tolerant off their constant demands for change!
We had 5 rooms in all and they were all close together. As requested in advance via e-mail, they were all on the lower ground as my mum is disabled. All of the rooms were clean and basic, with plenty of room and spacious verandas, with views of the pool area. It was great to have a kitchen area with fridge, even on an All Inclusive, and all of our rooms had x 2 televisions (kept the kids entertained while we were getting ready!). Maids clean every day expect Fridays and will change towels as requested (by throwing them in the bath).
The All Inclusive deal was as standard in most hotels, with food of some kind available from 7.00am to 22.00p.m. My brother became a bit upset about this on the second day, because he was unable to make dinner due to his very upset daughter (screaming through tiredness!), and after a couple of drinks later on in the evening he wanted something to eat. But their was nothing available and he complained about it to whoever would listen. Some of our group was also a little upset at the beginning of the holiday, that when the main restaurant was closed, the only 'Inclusive' food on offer was toasties and cakes. If you wanted chips, burgers or pizza from the bar you had to pay for them. But I must add that I found the opening hours of the main restaurant long enough, I always found something to eat (although I do love chicken and fish) and the kids loved helping themselves to the toasties as they wished. The themed nights in the restaurant were great. I did keep on having to remind my brother that he was staying at a 3* hotel, and his expectations may have been just a little to high!
But, the absolute making of this hotel and of our holiday was the staff. From the waiters to the hotel Manageress herself, they cannot help you enough. The waiters work long days, from the morning breakfast to the evening bar work. All day long they are friendly and smiling and joking around with the children. One particular waiter called Roberto was amazing. Thank you Roberto for always being so happy, even when my 'funny' brother played tricks on you in the bar ! On one occasion my niece hurt her foot when playing football in the park and the staff were excellent. The lifeguard came immediately to examine her foot, while Diego gave up his playtime to translate for us and soon after the Manageress of the hotel was there guiding us as to our options and insisting that she would be with us whatever we decided to do. Luckly enough there were no brakes, but I was blown away by the immediate care and attention that we received.

And finally, THE BLUE TEAM - WOW. You want a holiday were your kids from whatever age upwards are constantly entertained, while you have the chance to relax, then you must go to the H10 Lanzarote Gardens. Every single member of the BLUE TEAM were fantastic. They got all of the children involved day and night, from the Mini Club that my 4 & 6 year old nieces loved, to the evening productions that most of our older children took part in. My 12 year old nephew Josh was Daisy and then Pumba in the Disney parade. He is begging me to teach him Spanish, so that when he grows up he can work alongside 'Super Mario' and the rest of the team! The kids simply loved them all and did not want to come home, several of them where in tears on the way to the airport!
Thank you to all of the BLUE TEAM for making our holiday one to remember for a long time to come.
We will definately return to this hotel, some of us for fun and some of us looking for work LOL

excellent hotel, friendly and good service, excellent food (the best I got in all Canaries) , very well located for windsurfers going to Las Cucharas, convenient closed parking lots.
Wifi in the lobby.
I used it as a base , visiting and windsurfing all day long. maybe I would not have liked the noise because crowded pool (too many families escaping from the wind of the beach)

Well, we arrived in the afternoon, and checking in was simple, a lovely cheerful receptionist greeted us. We had missed lunch ( we were all inclusive ) so they gave us a snack bag each with a drink, fruit, yoghurt and a sandwich ). We went up to our room to find a nice cosey room with a sofa, tv, table, kitchen, balcony and a large bedroom. I slept in the bedroom and my dad slept on the sofa. The TV had english channels (FOX), which is where i found my great love of 'Bones' which was on from 11-12pm, i recomment watching it, anyway back onto the hotel! Then, we went down to the pool, there was a freezing cold one and a slightly heated one that was smaller than the large one but it was warmer so i went in that one mostly but the freezing one was bearable! There was many events like archery on the tennis/football court which was fun! Then at night time was a version of a german traditional show about an old woman who has guests over (there were none) and the butler drank+ate everything the guests should have and got very drunk ahha it was terrible but funny and shortly after there was a disco for the children and the hotel's mascot Daisy came out and did the hotel dance, it was great, and all of the certificates earned that day by people doing events were given out! The next morning we had breakfast and it was lovely, a huge choice! The only down side was that there was a cockroach near the scrambled eggs. We then did loads of events that day and it was really fun, a man from the local scuba diving business came down and gave free trials in the pools, testing all their equipment and giving information if the person wanted to do it in the sea which i didn't as i have exzema. There was a range of entertainment the next few nights, such as Greece, Starlight Express, a talent show and many more, these were very well rehearsed and they were really good! There were coach trips and stuff from a bus stop outside the hotel, we used this to go and explore the volcanoes (strongly recommended!!) and we got a taxi to the local waterpark which was great but there are a lot of stairs and you cant wear shoes and there are stones on the floors (only a few) and we went there at 10am expecting it to be packed and we were (LITERALLY!) the only guests there, but we had to get changed near the lockers where there was a parrot in a cage squarking in your lug hole it got annoying but hey! After a week there we sadly had to leave and we had pictures taken with all of the team as they were so great, there was a kids club and a chillout room with a Wii in it and more games that the teens could go in. It turns out that we had to ring up to confirm out booking for the coach that we had payed for by friday and it was sunday so we waited for the coach and it did not come. Luckilly we knew someone that was getting another coach to the same airport on our flight so the driver said we could go on his coach which was really nice! It was a very enjoyable stay and i would definitely go there again! oh and it was a 2 minute walk from the beach! I recommend it and i wanna go backk!!!
