“SUPER HOTEL!!!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 12, 2014

Stayed here from 3 Feb for 1 week. Excellent!!! We stayed before back in 2005 + the hotel has retained all its high standards. We asked for a sea-view room + got it. We are Club H10 so maybe that will have helped us. Top class food all week with great choice at all meals. Cava for on for breakfast on 2 days. We went H/B + got lovely wine each night at €7 for a half bottle
The staff are all excellent and very helpful
We would go back in a heart beat

Room Tip: Sea-view rooms are limited but worth asking.

Just about to head home after a week with my family ( 2+2) , this hotel simply does what it says it will do and at some points especially with the staff will exceed it. Great location in this quiet resort only 5 mins from the beech although it's well worth walking round a little further and finding the cove beech which is smaller and but much more sheltered . Loads of restaurants to chose from either across in the shopping centre or even better up at the square where you even have a Bluebells bar ! The hotel itself is perfect, great swimming pools and even has one that is heated which is great for Feb , the entertainment most nights was excellent and the entertainment staff made a big effort.

Not a lot I could say to improve this perfect little holiday .....just remember to take something warm for the evenings as it does get chilly

This holiday at a great price delivers what you would expect .

Would I come back .....Yes !

Room Tip: Block 3 worked for us , not to far from the main pool and reception etc and you get the sun on ur pa...

Just returned from a wonderful week in Lanzarote Gdns. Wish this was around when our children were young ideal for families. Friendly staff, lovely pool area, great entertainment for all ages really enjoyed our week. Will be going back later in the year. The weather was in the 20's most days the wind was chilly though needed something warm for the evenings.

Room Tip: The bungalow we stayed in was very comfortable close to the pool area 402

We chose this hotel based on the comments on Trip Advisor and am delighted we did. I can't believe that this hotel is only 3 stars, It would be a definate 5 from us. We (2 adults, 2 kids aged 4 and 2) stayed for the first week of Feb and cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. We arrived late on a Sat night and they had kindly left some fruit, yoghurt and sandwiches for us. This allowed us to concentrate on getting unpacked and the kids to sleep and not worry about where to get some food. Throughout our stay, nothing was too much trouble for the hotel and helped us with any query we had. However, it is the entertainment team that made our holiday so memorable. The mini-club welcomed our 4 year old with open arms and helped him settle in immediately with the other kids. The club is extremly safe and secure and provide plenty activities to keep the kids entertained every day. The activities organised for both children and adults during the day are fun and help build up a bit of fun between people from many different nationalities. Add to this the fantastic mini disco every night (which both kids loved) and the nightly themed shows (Aladdin, Grease etc.) and you have the ideal recipe for success. The entertainment team put 100% into everything they do and are possibly the hotels most positive feature. Well done to all concerned, definately worth a stay here.

This was a perfect hotel for our little kids! Rooms are spacious and animation team is fantastic! Great shows at night! Downside were the quality of the sofa; very poor and the food. Yeah , it's the Canary Islands and the frequent traveling Brits are not critical and seem to be quite happy. But for French or Italians, do not expect the quality of food of mainland Spain. Overall still very pleased with our stay..

5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 29, 2014 via mobile

We stayed at the H10 Lanzarote Gardens for ten days in January. The hotel is well-appointed, with everything one expects from a three-star establishment. The rooms and grounds are clean and well-kept, and the food is good (but nothing to write home about). Whilst it doesn't have the polish of a four-star hotel, it doesn't have the price tag either, so we were satisfied on that count.

The compound is not too large, and is centred around three swimming pools (a large ambient-temperature pool with a water slide and fountains for the children, a smaller heated pool, and a heated paddling pool for infants). In January it was unfortunately a bit too chilly to use the pools (although we did see some hardier guests swimming), but I can imagine that they see heavy use in the summer. Around the pool there is a profusion of deck chairs - again, probably mostly for use during the warmer months. The rooms are clustered into several three-storey blocks, which are all set a ways back and give the hotel a much more pleasant feel than the single uniform wall of rooms and windows other hotels sometimes have.

As noted in many other reviews, this is a heavily family-oriented hotel. There is a crèche (in the mornings and afternoons, six days a week) for children from 6 months to 3 years, as well as organised activities for children up to their tens. Our daughter (12 months old) went to the crèche nearly ever day, and she loved it - there were plenty of other children and toys to play with, and the minders were kind, funny and creative. For the slightly older children there are two playground areas and a ball pen. Baby- and children-family touches abound, from the cots and high chairs to the children's table in the restaurant.

The guests were evenly split between families with babies or small children, and pensioner couples (with large contingents of Brits and Germans). If the noise of children playing at mealtime bothers you, then this is not the hotel for you! On the other hand, as parents with a toddler we felt right at home, and didn't have to worry if our little one was being a bit louder than usual.

The hotel also offers daytime activities for adults (such as volleyball, archery, fitness, shuffleboard etc). Whilst there was not the enormous variety of activities one might find at a dedicated vacation club, the activities we did attend were enjoyable and the staff fun. The staff also organise a children's disco and a show every evening.

I want to pay a particular compliment to the staff, who (with the unfortunate and very visible exception of the receptionists) was unfailingly friendly, helpful, enthusiastic, entertaining, and welcoming. From the cleaners to the kitchen staff to the activity organisers, they always took a moment to smile, say hello, or play with our daughter; their enthusiasm made our holiday a lot more enjoyable. Nearly all of them spoke at least two of Spanish, English or German, so communication was never an issue.

The hotel is located at the heart of Costa Teguise; all of the town is easily accessible by foot from the hotel. The nearest beach (a nice sandy beach with a promenade, restaurants and surfing schools) is a short five-minute stroll away, and supermarkets and shopping centres are just around the corner. We had only booked a half-pension (breakfast and dinner), which was more than sufficient, as there is a profusion of places to eat nearby. The receptionists can book rental cars for exploring the rest of Lanzarote, although we found it was considerably cheaper to book them online beforehand.

Our room was composed of a living room with a sofa bed (unfortunately very uncomfortable and only really suitable for sleeping in an emergency) and small dining table and a kitchenette (with fridge, hobs, and an oven), a bedroom with two single beds pushed together, and a bathroom with a bathtub and shower head. For parents with one baby it's just about large enough, but the apartments with two bedrooms are highly recommended if you have more children or need more space.

Wireless internet is available in the reception, bar and restaurant for a small fee (2€ per day or 10€ per week). Despite what it says in some descriptions, the hotel does not lend out baby-phones (intercoms), and most models will not work properly as the compound is too large. Since Wi-Fi does not extend to the rooms, some parents used various smartphone apps instead (although we didn't use them personally) which would call their other cellphone in case their baby woke up.

All in all, this hotel offers fantastic value for money for a relaxing holiday with babies or small children.

Had a 1weeks holiday here from Jan 19th and I agree with all of the positive comments made by other holiday makers, very customer focused, all staff very friendly and hard working, good choice of food, clean and in an ideal location. We had a great holiday :)
I do have 1 negative comment but that is to do with some holiday makers who are very ignorant of basic food hygene, picking up and handling food & crockery then putting it back!! As well as those allowing their children to do the same, of course this happen in other hotels where there is buffet type service, I mention this to perhaps alert those responsible to hopefully perhaps show more consideration in the future.
