stayed there from July 14 to July 28th, had a great time, staff super friendly, place very clean. Dinner 4.90, chilli con carne is a must!. drinks and ice cream at reasonable prices too!. Jennyfer at reception super friendly and helpful!, Jaime (from the sahara) and Carla (from Uruguay) were superfriendly at the restaurant &bar! , pools clean, hotel clean, I even got lollypops for my daughter from the lady that works in the laundrette!. stayed at apt 619 and it was great. Only complain is that 5 young guys arrived to the apt above us and starting having an "after party" after arriving back from the town. But was sorted by the security staff and they were quiet after that .only suggestion to hotel is to separate families and couples from party groups. apart from that everything perfect!.Shuttle bus right on time ,very clean and had air conditioning. Highly recommend to families.

It was exactly what I was looking for. The place had some kids, but certainly not over run by them. Busier down the front, but sociable in the back building with more patio's than balconies. People sat out at night and socialised over their low walls which was nice.
The Wi-Fi costs extra and had a bit of a problem connecting to it. At the time my laptop was telling me it was the rooter, but really was too busy to care for the internet.
The place itself is very well kept and staff are friendly. Most, if not all speak good English.
One downfall of the rooms was that the 'Z' bed is horrendous to sleep on for a full week, but soon realised you can take the seat-cushion from the couch and add that for comfort.
The beach is a bit away, but there is a free bus 3 times daily to it and back at suitable times which is a bonus. The snack bar prices are a bit much, but you get that in any complex which is why we usually opt to go out for meals. That way you get to see a bit of the island too. The market at the plaza is a must see! Plenty of night life down there and great people. Different types of bars (and stalls for the kids.) Caricature artists for the ones looking for a 'self portrait!'
All in a relaxing resort with friendly people, but pricey.

My partner and I just got back from our holiday from this hotel these are the problems we had whilst there:
1. Clenliness - When we arrived apartment floor was dirty and apartment was cleaned twice during our week stay (once after 3 days of staying there and once again but only for clean towels - floors not cleaned and beds not changed)
2. Pool - Pool is manky and filter is switched off at night so pool is never properly cleaned
3. Apartment - Apartment had no toaster or kettle - seemed to lack the basics
4. Hazard - We had wires hanging from the ceiling above the shower - not very safe
5. Other issues - fridge/ freezer in apartment had a missing door so everything that was put in the fridge was frozen. The shower cube doors were loose and wet the floor constantly which was dangerous as the whole apartment had a tiled floor.
6. Location - It is a very long walk to the town it is about 1 mile before you will hit the town taking at least 30 minutes walking time also a long walk from the nice beach. We don't mind walking but by the end of the week it does get rather annoying - cant just nip out and back to hotel without it being a long walk.

I did read other reviews before booking this hotel and other reviews seemed to be great (hence why we booked to stay here) but seriously find somewhere else unless you are happy to stay somewhere that shouldn't be any more than a 2*

We chose these apartments from TripAdvisor reviews, and were generally very happy. When we first arrived, we were allocated a rather small one, with twin beds in one room and a single in the other. There was a camp bed set up in the sitting room. We immediately asked if it would be possible to move, and although it wasn't possible that night, the friendly, fluent English speaking receptionist arranged for us to view an alternative early the next morning. The new apartment was much more suitable for our needs (parents with two teenage daughters.) The rooms were spacious and scrupulously clean. The kitchens weren't brilliantly well equipped - no oven or grill - but a hob, microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee machine. Not much in the way of batterie de cuisine either, but enough to make a bowl of pasta.
The bar was quiet generally, and served good coffee. The house wine was pretty rough though. We had a meal one evening after a very long day out. Although it was fairly cheap it really wasn't very good, but since the bar tender is also doing the cooking, it's not surprising that it was basically a microwaved ready meal.

The swimming pools are both unheated, like most hotel pools in Lanzarote, and were frankly a bit chilly for me. However that didn't stop younger children having a lovely time in them!

Although there's a free bus to the town centre three times a day, we really appreciated having our hire car (AutoReisen, see separate review). There was a Spar supermarket a short drive away, but Hyper or Super Dino is better, once you work out how to get there.

The nights were slighted blighted by a very bright security floodlight which shone all night long. On the other hand, since there were no bedside lights, it did save me needing to use a torch when I was trying to read in bed ;)

We did see wildlife of the cockroach variety a couple of times but only in the grounds, never in the buildings. We also had a gecko living in a crack of the wall on the balcony. And there was a very fine black cat who came to visit a couple of times.

We'd been heavily influenced in our choice by not wanting to be too close to the town centre and 'strip', but actually it wasn't as noisy as we'd been led to believe. But taxis were very cheap and easy to get hold of.

Air conditioning doesn't seem to be an available option, so window opening was necessary to get air through. Our daughter's room faced onto the outside perimeter of the complex so they preferred not to leave windows open at night and it did seem to get a bit stuffy in there.

All in all a very enjoyable stay and would happily recommend.

Room Tip: We started in 624, which would be fine for a couple or family with one/two young children. 620 was...

We stayed here for 1 week at the end of July, The apartment was spacious for two but a little inconvenient with 3 of us sharing. Good breezy seating area with flat screen TV but channel choice was limited. The staff were fantastic, very friendly and helpful. The bar prices were very reasonable, food choice was a little limited. The pools are quiet and very nice although they are a little small but they both have a shallow pool for children. The centre is a little way from the beach (10-15 mins walk) but there is a free bus 3 times a day and a taxi to the beach costs about 3 euros. The nearest shops are 8-10 mins walk but there are several Bars and restaurants to choose from. We well recommend "The Mill" the food is home made and of a very high quality. The nearest of the "Main Front/Shopping area's" are about 25-30 mins walk but there are plenty of nice cafe's to stop at on the way for a rest/drink. It is also worth noting that the aqua park is only 5-10 mins walk up the road. There are several places to book excursions from but these can be booked from reception at the centre. All in all a very good Holiday location and we would recommend it to most people, Although those people who have difficulty with walking may be better served with somewhere closer to the front.

my husband and I stayed here 6th to 20th july, it was nice and clean and large.
the only drawback about this hotel is the location, we both work for royal mail so already do a lot of walking and don't walk slow either but it took us on average 30-35 mins to get to all the bars and restaurants, we got a taxi back every night and if you get one before 10pm it cost us 2.85-2.95 euros and after 10pm it was 3.55-3.65 so not bad. if you have kids or are elderly and can't walk far do not book here, if you don't mind walking or like walking definitely book here.

I stayed here with my fiance for 1 week in July 2013, The apartment was excellent and very spacious with a large kitchen/dining area, sitting area with flat screen tv and large bathroom and bedroom all very clean and the staff really friendly. The drinks at the bar were quite pricey unless you stuck to beer. We went self catering but the bar has a menu which is reasonably priced and excellent food. It is quite a walk to the shops and beach however there is a free bus service. I noticed that a lot of couples and families stayed here which was nice as there were no groups of people being loud at night. We are definitely going to return but maybe go all inc.
