just returned from a 10 night stay,oh the plus side the food is adequate.you will not starve.drinks plentiful, public areas clean and friendly staff.
on the downside this is advertised on the internet as a 4 star hotel.................in fact when you arrive the rating outside is a 3 key aparthotel.
it does not have laundry service, room service, anyone to help with your bags,no room cleaning at all on a saturday...................i could go on and on.
the pool is freezing only the kids used it,the sunbeds are so hard and uncomfotable that everyone pit lilos on them.our sheets were only changed twice in ten days, the floor in our room was not mopped the entire stay and the bathroom was not cleaned properly.
if you just want the sun and chips with everything then this for you but it sure aint a 4 star.

Room Tip: ask for aground floor room there are no lifts and no one to help with your bags

1 week all inclusive holiday. Amazing restaurant. Very clean and the room was very modern and spacious. Plenty of food choice and serve-yourself drinks is such a good idea. 10-15 minute walk from the beach/shops, ideal location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Amazing holiday, would go back!

We stayed here on 11th October 2012 as a family of two adults and two children aged 7&3. Kids pool was amazing very shallow so able to sit out of the pool an watch the kids play (very cold but kids not bothered by it) food was as to be expected, lots of choice and always hot! Few differant nights of choice eg: Spanish night, Italian night. Night time entertainment was good never watched the same thing twice in the week we were there all though it doesn't start until 8:30 so little one was tired before it all started so sleeps in the day recommended. Apartment was fab we stayed all inclusive and still had a full kitchen in block e that looked out onto football and basketball pitches. Hotel very clean and room service good too. Safe hire expensive at 3,30 Euros a day! Bit of a walk to the main strip and beach with two little ones so we always got a taxi for 2,45euros. Beach was fab but waves were huge so a no go for the little ones. All in all an amazing holiday had by all.

i have so much to thank bluebay lanzarote for after moving there following a bad start to our holiday in a very near by other accomodation.

our room was incredibly spacious with air-con, contemporary decor and impecibly clean throughout with the room being cleaned and towels refreshed every day apart from one (cleaners need a day off sometime and i could cope with that lol)

there was a fridge (stocked with bottled water) kitchen facilities (should you need them on an AI holiday) and a hairdryer in the bathroom!

the dining room served excellent choice of food at every sitting of breakfast, lunch and dinner. i am vegetarian and my partner a very fussy eater, but we both ate like king and queen all week and ate something different on every day, nothing was repeated and there was no sign of food being re-introduced say from lunch to dinner or dinner to next day lunch. everything appeared to be cooked fresh.

the pool bar served snacks and there was a self service drinks area where you can get coffee, tea, water, branded fizzy drinks and beer on tap from when breakfast finished until 6pm when the lounge bar opened and then the dining room.

the hotel have a great entertainment and animations team for the children and adults with activities put on every day including aqua-aerobics, archery, shooting, water volley ball, table tennis, pool and shuffleboard to mention just a few. the evening entertainment was also varied and entertaining.

there was one day where alot of holiday makers had arrived and it did look like there were not enough sunbeds but the staff soon managed to rally round and find a stash that they cleaned off and got out and everyone was happy.

every member of staff we meet was very friendly, happy and seemed very happy in their job. they could not do enough for you.

the hotel has a small shop and internet facilities with about 4 or 6 terminals to use.

the nearest supermarket and small shops are about 200-300 metres around the corner and the hotel offer a free shuttle bus to the main town and beach 3 times a day, but we decided to take a walk which took about 15 minutes max. i would recommend taking the coastal route round to the town as it avoids the main roads and was a little more scenic, it may take a little longer but didn't seem as uphill on the way back as the main roads route.

all in all bluebay lanzarote made our week very very enjoyable.

Room Tip: we were located on the ground floor in block C, i was apprehensive as the room was close to the even...

I travelled in September 2012 with my mum (I am 24 and she is 54), booked through travelrepublic and got a very good deal for all inclusive. This was our first visit to Lanzarote.

We arrived at 11.30pm and were checked in fairly promptly, bar was still serving drinks until midnight so we were able to have a quick drink before bed. Unfortunately there was no food available at this time which was disappointing as we were starving!

My mum had requested a 3rd floor room in block A as recommended by previous reviewers on here so we were glad to note we were allocated room A305. The room - well suite - was massive with a separate bedroom living room/kitchenette, and a balcony. One thing to bear in mind though is that there are no lifts in the building - not a problem for us but for those travelling with prams or who have difficulty with stairs I would recommend requesting a ground floor room which I'm sure would be accomodated. The room was spotlessly clean and our towels were changed every time we asked for them to be (like many hotels now they avoid changing the towels unless necessary in order to be environmentally friendly - I did have to explain this to mum who was a bit confused to see the towels hadn't been changed the first day!)

The all inclusive food was good, plenty of choice and served in a pleasant dining room. There are self-service bar snacks (burgers and chips etc) available at the pool bar throughout the day outwith mealtimes. Additionally there was a paella demonstration one day with everyone offered fresh paella and sangria afterwards at the pool bar which was a nice touch. At the breakfast buffet, omelettes are made fresh to order which I liked. In the evening, the chef makes toasties in the restaurant which is great - only downside is that you are not allowed to leave the restaurant with these to take them to your room - couldn't really understand the reason behind this given that food from outside the hotel is OK to bring to your room and the room itself has cooking facilities!!!

Outwith the hotel nightlife in Costa Teguise was pretty quiet, mostly young families and older couples so not a place I'd probably travel to with friends or my boyfriend but it suited me and mum fine. There was the usual Benidorm-ish entertainment in the hotel, worth a visit to pass the time but it didn't start til 10pm and then only lasted one hour which was a bit annoying! The Argentinian dancers were very good, but the quiz night was dire, although it did have some comedy value because of this. Anyway it's all inclusive and everyone's sozzled by this time anyway so everyone seemed happy enough!!!

If the food is getting a bit samey I would recommend Restaurante Sausalito which is about a 5 minute walk away - turn left outside the hotel entrance, walk to the corner and turn left again, walk down and cross the main road and you will see it. 8 euros for a 3 course meal that was lovely and the staff are so friendly.

We went on the Grand Tour booked through www.lastminute-transfer.com (they have a number of offices on the island) which was a full day tour of the island that took in all the main sights and included lunch, 45 euros per person which we thought was reasonable.

Weather was fantastic, 30 degrees plus every day. All in all a lovely first visit to Lanzarote with mum.

Perfect hotel. Very, very clean, excellent staff. Food good for all inclusive and of course there was the self service bar.

It's quite a walk to the centre of town and the beach, around 15 mins. You can get a taxi for about 5 euros.

In all would go back to this hotel anytime, it was excellent value for money.
