Fantastic, vast grounds, green, lots of beautiful plants and lots of birds and other wildlife. A great escape from the austere volcanic surroundings. Very relaxing and therapeutic.

“Very nice”

Golf course is in good condition for the climate. Scenery is lovely and if you book after 4pm it's a lot cheaper (€85 for two people, two sets of clubs and a buggy)

“An enjoyable experience”
Reviewed April 15, 2014 via mobile

Played this course yesterday and going back again tomorrow (so yes I enjoyed it). The surroundings are delightful and the course is in good condition. Having read the reviews on here beforehand I expected the course to be tougher than it actually was. The fairways are fairly narrow but not ridiculously so. Thankfully I played fairly well (7 over par as a mediocre golfer with a handicap of 10) and managed to stay on them most of the time - if you were wayward it would become tricky on some of the bare areas. A lot of dog legs to play and without knowing the exact yard ages that requires a little bit of thought. Twilight golf is a bit cheaper but did start to get a bit tiring in the heat near the end of the round. Staff are friendly and speak good English. Only downside was the standard of the clubs which I hired but I guess that's to be anticipation and they were decent enough to allow you to still play competitively and the caddy master was a very pleasant and helpful bloke. Ok it's not Augusta but wouldn't put anyone off playing the course unless they were extremely fussy. It's a bit different from a real top class course back home with different challenges. Don't agree that the bunkers are impossible to play out of but like everyone else sand would have preferred them to be filled with sand.

“worth a visit”
Reviewed April 5, 2014

Hired clubs from the clubhouse having taken out our own shoes, balls , tee's etc. Very nice course but stay on the green stuff or you are hitting out of volcanic ash , bit like a gritty bunker. payed 140 euro for 2 players , clubs and a buggy. could have used a trolley as it is pretty flat and would have saved a bit . Don't compare to the Algarve but a nice way to get off the beach.
