“Good quality tapas, excellent wine”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 25, 2013

Went here following some good reports on Trip Advisor. Lovely restaurant - nice atmosphere. Good quality, good value tapas. Really impressed with the red wines - some excellent Riojas and wines from the Ribera del Duero. Didnt try the grilled meats but will next time!

“Authentic tapas”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 24, 2013

Delicious tapas made to order by Francisco. Washed down by a fantastic Rioja. All very reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

“Best Tapas by far.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 24, 2013

Just back today and can't praise La tabla or Francisco enough. We were here for a week and ate here 4 times. The tapas and ribs were excellent and we had different tapas dishes every time we ate here. Service and price were excellent.

“Best Steak in Costa Teguise”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 20, 2013

Its been a while since I visited La Tabla, Francisco, has done well, for a one man band he copes well, he is open Monday to Friday doing food Lunchtime and evenings, he is closed Saturday and Sunday to be with his family.
He does a range of Tapas and Grill meats, his Ribeye steak is to die for, also try the sliced chips with garlic salt Mmmm.
He is tucked away in a small Square Las Maretas, the square is now starting to Buzz with a new Italian, not tried yet but heard its good and the Restaurant Maretas another old faithful.
This is the place I go on a warm summers evening to sit outside and chill and if you are lucky or not Francesco might burst into song.
To find, ask for the Post Office (yellow front) and go through the large arch and its on the left.

“Very pleasant lunch - shame about the weather!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 13, 2013

My wife and I had a tapas lunch in La Tabla on the one bleak, grey day we had during our month in Lanzarote. Like others, we were prompted to visit this restaurant on the basis of its favourable reviews. When we were there, two other tables were occupied and the waiter / cook was attending to their meals. He apologised profusely for any delay but this wasn't an issue - we were in no hurry. We ordered a selection of Tapas which in fact were ready within 10 minutes. There was smoked salmon, a chorizo sausage, a chicken curry, a canarian stew, some potatoes and potato croquettes and some meat balls (which were served cold - something of a surprise). The food was fine and at 16 euros, seemed to represent good value. The view from outside the restaurant is unremarkable as the restaurant is in the central concourse of a small shopping complex. Head for the post office and the restaurant is just round the corner.
