This was a great find when on holiday last week. We first called in for a cold beer (iced glasses!) after a long walk but were impressed with the menu.
It's located on the seafront so the views are nice and what I liked is that although it's showing sport it's not instrusive. It's there if you want it or if you want a nice meal enjoying the view, then it gives you that too.
We were so impressed with the food, we ended up there most evenings. We tried the specials including local fish in a white wine and parsley sauce and toad in the hole. My husband would definitely recommend the steak pie and we both loved the fact that they take the trouble to produce real chips! The food was plentiful, the was really good quality and the prices were reasonable too.
Thanks to Mark and Rebecca who own and run the Cutty Sark and also to the wonderful Amanda who cooks all the great food.
I heartily recommend the Cutty Sark!!
