How anyone can rate this as anything other than awful is beyond me. 37.50 euros for 3 adults to spend 30 minutes looking at very few fish, in tiny tanks which contain half the number of fish due to clever placement of mirrors and lighting. Very poor value - both for time and education - do not waste your money!

We decided to take the children to the Aquarium. After picking up a bus we arrived in Costa Tequise. I think we made the mistake of approaching this trip as if we were going to Sealife (which is very good). The woman at the till was not welcoming at all. We were charged over 33.00 euro for two adults and one child (did not have to pay for our three year old). We had to then navigate a buggy down two flights of stairs (no lift). We completed the whole experience in 15 minutes, and I think I am being generous there. Our 6 year old was not impressed, but our three year old seemed to like it as he loves sharks. It all felt a bit old and dated. The gift shop was okay (that's if you have any money left over from the expensive entrance fee!) Both children picked out two sealife animals that they could use in water for a 1 euro, which was the bargin of the day!

We visited the aqaurium after seeing a leaflet in our hotel. It was 12.50 euros each and it looked big so we were looking forward to the afternoon in the aquarium.
It is all downstairs and we had finished it in half an hour. Their were turtles in there with a limb missing and no sign mentioning why which was sad to see. The lighting was poor and it was very hot which made us want to leave. Very disappointed in our visit to this aquarium which stated on the leaflet it was one of the best destinations in the canary islands.

Fish were nice but only took us 1/2 hour to see everything, that was with us sitting down for over 5 mins to see the sharks. Just ok. Gift shop had some nice plastic fish for 1 euro, my little boy loved them.

We took the toddlers here on an overcast day.

It is a nice aquarium but it seems to be over very quickly and for he money we paid I felt a little disappointed the kids however loved it!
