We were staying in a nearby hotel which did all inclusive but after a while all inclusive can become a bit repetitive - plus the meal hours weren't always great with a baby. That's where La Hacienda turned out to be a brilliant spot. The staff - a mixture of English and other nationalities - were very friendly and we ended up on a great table on their terrace, complete with high chair for baby.
Tex Mex is so common it can look boring but the food here is delicious. The chicken fajitas were spicy and tasty, while nachos served with cheese and guacamole were some of the best we'd tasted. The cocktails were colourful but not over the top, and the little extras - nibbles and sparkling wine - were very welcome. A lovely way to spend a warm early evening.
