We tried this restaurant thinking that it may do a passable impression of a curry... we were not expecting the fresh ingredients and a chef that has clearly worked hard to get everything just right. The location is deceptive, you will not regret a visit and if like us you enjoy curry at home you will be making comparisons with your favourite local restaurant, enjoy.

After overdosing on Greek food we spotted this Indian restaurant in Kardamena. A gregarious host, Penny, showed us to our table and we ordered the blackboard special at €12.00 of starter, main and drink. A young waitress brought us glasses of orangeade which turned out to be pint glasses ! Most welcome after a hot day. Poppadums and pickles went down well as did my Rogan Josh and my friend's Chicken Karahi. They came with Pilau Rice and a Naan Bread. As a treat we requested a Peshwari Naan for an extra €1.00 It was all well cooked and 'Anglicised' Indian food as you would enjoy in any good Indian restaurant in the UK. Different from the food you eat in India but very enjoyable. During the meal we watched the 'larger than life' Penny working the room and chatting to guests. She talked us into her 'speciality desserts' ! (As if we needed to be encouraged !) My friend had Blood Orange Sorbet and I had Chocolate Mousse with Cream. Both were fabulous and worthy of any top restaurant. The meal was rounded off with 'Nes-Coffee' as they like to call it in Greece. We enjoyed the meal and the hospitality of our host. I read some other reviews which had negative comments but our experience was good.

Everytime we travel abroad we always try out an indians. This was the one we tryed in kos, and i wont be returning. The food was ok not the best but not the worst, but the women who works there possibly the manager has such an attitude towards both customers and the other staff. The sign outside advertsing a special offer is so misleading and she even admitted that its just to get people in. Nothing more to say
