“why stay anywhere else”

have been staying at vanessas for the past 14 yrs, started out as a family holiday all those years ago and now me and my husband holiday here as a couple, good spacious rooms, always kept clean,i can vouch for the pool being cleaned as i often sit on my balcony and watch the owner early in the mornings, its like having a holiday home,we are just so comfortable when we stay here, steve vanessa fotis and dimitris will help you out as much as they can, have never had a problem, there are no hidden extras with the price of the room, that in itself is a bonus, all in all an excellent, well positioned, clean, friendly hotel, give it a tryxx

We only had one night in the hotel as we were using it as a stopover before we flew in the morning. The price for both of us , bed only, was 20 euros. i did not know what to expect but it was lovely. We had a large.airy and extremely clean room. It had a balcony overlooking a clean pool and if we had been staying longer it had a fully equiped kitchen area. Ideal for a family on a budget holiday as it had two single beds in one area and a double bed in another room. I would like to return there and know where I would be staying. well done Vanessa for cleanliness and price.

Room Tip: We had room 29 and it had a good AC unit at no extra cost.

Stayed at this hotel 8th to 15th september. We had a studio.it was cleaned 4 time,s in our stay.bed,s changed 3 time,s. location is spot on, .it,s in the centre of Kalamaki so close to everything. but quiet at night.so you can get a good night,s sleep.Yes the pool is quite small but you can use any pool in kalamaki so it,s not a problem. All the staff are really friendly.Had breakfast here every morning and you can,t beat them for the price just over 7.00 euro,s for two full english breakfast,s.really enjoyed our stay here and hope to come back next year.

We arrived from the airport by Taxi (13 euro's) and was a little surprised how small the hotel was as its website makes it look large.. We were greated by a young lady who advised us our rooms would by ready in 20 mins....OK time for a drink at the bar and all drinks/food reasonably priced. Went back to reception and was told to one room ready and to come back for the other in 10 mins.....Guess what went back and told another 20 mins.

Rooms were clean, aircon included and safe. No kettle so bring one if you need it. Large fridge freezer, TV but no English TV stations. Pool clean and plenty of loungers, weather during our stay was very hot 94 on most days and had to visit pharmacy next door for heat stroke tablets. I would not recomend using Costa scooter hire over road from hotel as you are not covered by any insurance, We had two bikes and there both broke down. We often saw the attendent go and bring back broken bikes.
The Resteraunt to the right of the hotel was excellant and most were including Taj Mahal chinese/indian.
I would go back again and possibly the Vanessa. We did spend quite a lot of money and would need to way up all inclusive at another hotel.
Finally the owners could of been a little more polite and before the holiday I did email the owner to request adjacent room in the party and airport info but recieved no reply.
Zante airport is new but already too small and a big rip off. A pepsi and ham sandwich cost 8 euro's.

Room Tip: Facing pool is sea facing but you will hear noise from the bar till mid night. Rear room are quiet

no frills regarding the room but clean, huge and perfectly functional, friendly staff, brilliant pool for the children too !

Room Tip: rooms at the front of the hotel are the best due to a seaview and view of the main road !

I stay at Vanessa Hotel every year for 12 years, the apartments are spacious, clean and very reasonably priced. The food is good and priced well and the pool is lovely. The hotel is very close to the beach and I stay at this hotel every year I come to Zakynthos. The staff are amazingly friendly and helpful and I will stay at Vanessa Hotel every year. Top :) Sammy
