This was one of our first port of calls along with Why Not Bar but no review page for it. Always started the night off here with a martini just to get the ball rolling. Very reasonable priced and was great just to watch the world go by early evening. Had nightly entertainment but we spent our late nights in old kalamaki.

We were here last year & returned every night during our holiday this year.

Nertila, Vasillis, Rachael & Aris are such a lovely bunch of people. Its the sort of bar u go to chill out, have a dance if u fancy, have a game or three of pool while supping your favourite drink with some good music & served by some great staff.

Its family friendly too & popular with families, couples & groups of friends. They always do they're best to make sure everyone is happy. When we've been this year & last year it gives the feel of a "local" cos the same ppl always visit, along with new faces who might be on a pub crawl or just passing.

The atmosphere is lovely & you never get any bother, which is just what u want really :-) You'll often see staff from other restaurants, the Pandesia & Ambrosia for instance, later on. The pub doesn't shut til the last one leaves, which u really have to respect Vasillis & Nertila for.

They have karaoke on specific nights which is always good entertainment & the kiddie winks can sing til they're hearts are content. They also have a PS3 to keep the kids (or even the adults!) entertained.

You really can't knock the place & can't wait to come bck in October for my birthday, to see them all again and Nertila & Vasilli's baby :-D Have a great summer guys!!

Me and my fiance stopped in Kalamaki 17th - 31st May 2012 & the Black Pearl became our local. Nertila and Vasilis are two lovely people who run this bar who made us feel so welcome every night we spent there. Rachel is a fabulous barmaid who always makes sure you're glass isn't empty :-)

It was reasonably quiet but still a great atmosphere when we were there. Vasilis, being a football man, makes sure the matches are on. If football isnt your thing, theres music playing or karaoke on. The karaoke is great entertainment also.

Nertila is a lovely, friendly person who is one for thinking up new concoctions for shots. Always greets u with a lovely smile. Vasilis is also a lovely welcoming bloke who makes sure everyone is being entertained. He does dress up in his pirate outfit for the kids, who really love it, or hes singing away to Barbie Girl ;-p

The prices were really good - €2 or €2.50 for most cocktails. The local lager is good aswell & way cheaper than in the UK.

U can sit supping away on your drink while admiring the beautiful Greek sunsets over the road. We're going bck again this year and really can't wait to see the girls and boys of the Black Pearl. Miss u guys! See u soon!!
