The good:

1) Excellent staff
2) Great location
3) Fully booked but never crowded
4) Always sun loungers available
5) No real queues at bars
6) Not much down time on food
7) great atmosphere
8) good selection of food at buffet
9) the snack chips are incredible
10) excellent afternoon snack food
11) well priced
12) safe and happy environment

The bad:

1) Ridiculous open en suite toilet and shower
2) Bar closes at 11
3) Limited alcohol selection - 1 beer, wine out of a tap etc.
4) No taps for soft drink - bottle runs out very fast at meal times.

For the price, the good far outweighs the bad. It's not perfect, but it's not too expensive either.

The hotel could really benefit from offering nice wine for a price. This was one of my bigger gripes, all inclusive since been to before offered upmarket booze for extra.

You can't go wrong here though. If you like more upmarket and varied drinks, the island is pretty cheap for a night out.

Just returned from a two week stay with my wife and 1 year old daughter and we had a brilliant family holiday! The room was pretty much brand new so everything was really clean and modern, the air con was excellent and controlled by a remote which meant you didn't need to get up in the night if you woke up cold as my wife often does. The only down side to the room was when you had a shower the water spread across the room a little but this was easily stopped by putting down a towel and you are provided with 5 towels every day so it wasn't really an issue for us. The bed was massive and very comfy. The hotel itself was really nice, modern and cool. The dining room was big with outdoor options both in the shade or in the sun, we never struggled to get a baby chair either which was nice, the food was good, plenty of choice and the Sunday dinner with beef and Yorkshire pudding was the best I've ever eaten out of England! Breakfast was also a highlight with English style sausages and beans. Two food types we don't normally like abroad. All the staff at the hotel were fantastic. Gerald, Eleni, Thanos, Aneta are the only names we can remember unfortunately, however all of the staff were fantastic with us and our young daughter, always friendly and more than happy to help in any way! The choice of drinks available in the all inclusive was varied with plenty of cocktails available along with soft drinks and the lager went down well! The maids were a bit noisy first thing in the morning. We could hear them having a good chat from about 6:30 am onwards! They did however do a great job cleaning the rooms and other areas of the hotel, the entertainment included rock n roll night, Latin night and Greek night which were really good fun but we did feel there should have been more entertainment on other nights as well. On the whole I would recommend this hotel and thanks for a great holiday!

where do I start.. hhmmm.well we arrived 3rd july very exited .we got in to our room to find a few things wrong with it .
1. the main light fitting on the ceiling wasn't fitted right you could see the wires
2.some silicon on the glass panel of the shower was missing
3. the hair dryer was the end of the room nowhere near a mirror and carnt be moved
4. the hinge on the glass door was loose and the packer was falling out
5.the glass balcony had a crack in the bottom corner.
and that's just the room bare in mind this is a newly refurbished hotel.just after a week we saw the rep and told her and she got the room changed for us.they gave us 1 hour to move our stuff so they could get it cleaned for someone else...
the food is terrible the pork, chicken, lamb was dry the days we tried it .its mainly the same food for the kids most days the bacon u can snap with your fingers it was that dry.the sausage well it looked like sausage but didn't taste of sausage.we ended up going and eating out every day to get a proper meal.we found that the other hotel they own in kalamaki was better for drinks and the food looked better when we paid a visit.if your hungry after 9pm your stuffed because there is not food available .all in all we found that the exotica is not very good ..each to there own tho ..we will not be returning even if it was for free ....

Room tip: dont book here

Our family has just returned from a stay at the Exotica Hotel and we could not be more pleased with everything.
The rooms were extremely comfortable with AirCon and good facilities.
The staff at the hotel are excellent and always smiling. Every single one couldn't do enough to help you. Reception, Waiting Staff, Cleaning staff and The bar staff, particularly Thanos, Gerarld, and Anetha were excellent and were so good with our children.

Drink selection was excellent with a wide range and the food was also very good especially the breakfast choice.

The entertainment , especially the Flyin' Roosters on the rock and roll night, was also excellent.

Having two pools is such a brilliant help also as our kids could play in the safety of the pool without worrying about depth and they were never out of it.

There is so much to do and Zante manned it is such a beautiful island. We did a jeep safari, visited Navigio to see the shipwreck and also swam the Blue Caves, all thanks to Travel Zografakis, it was such a fabulous week.

Fully recommend staying at the Exotica if you visit Zante
