We had a fantastic holiday here!! Beautiful island and equally beautiful hotel! The hotel is well maintained and clean. Vicky and her husband ensure that everyone is looked after and nothing is too much trouble!
The breakfast is basic but tasty and starts you off for a fun packed day in the sun. There is a basic food menu from the bar too which is nice if you don't want to walk down to the strip (about 15-20 mins). We would definitely go back for another holiday!!!

I stayed here for 2 weeks from 10th - 24th August. It was really lovely, the room was really nice and very clean. The staff were friendly and I had the time of my life. So much so that my friend and I have booked up for the whole of August next year and can't wait! 298 days to go!

Clean and very friendly hotel ,returned 20th Sept 2012,despite wicked storms we did enjoy our stay.Without a car,it was impossible to walk anywhere to eat (only one good one locally,Micheolo's ) as hotel only did very limited snacks, but Vicki did cook us a nice omelette when we got trapped in by the rain!
Breakfast acceptable but every day the same,cereals/greek yogurt, ham boiled eggs, melon pieces but quite fresh and clean.
Rather far out from eateries unless very good at walking, which my husband is not and main town of Kalamaki, changed so much since we went but found a couple of decent restaurants with the car.
Would not return but think the weather dampened our enthusiasm!

Room Tip: All seemed the same, good .

We have just returned from our second holliday this year and once again we thoroughly enjoyed our stay despite thunderstorms and torrential rain for the first three and half days. Gis & Vicky were as warm and welcoming as usual. The bedding and towels were changed regularly and the room was cleaned every day by the two ladies whose job.
Once again we met up with people who we knew from previous visits.
Can't wait for 2013 so we can go back once again

This was our first stay at Daniel and we had a wonderful stay. People come back to this hotel year after year and I can see why its a gem of a place. If you after a quiet relaxing holiday in pleasant surroundings with friendly attentive hosts then this is the place to go. The hotel is small, very clean and comfortable, surrounded by olive groves, chickens and goats. It is about a ten minute walk to the beach and we hired push bikes to get around it was great fun!! Augustin and Vickie work really hard to make sure you enjoy your stay nothing is too much trouble. There are some very good restaurants fairly nearby and we would recommend Georgios, for an extra special treat Essence is a must. We will definitely be going back.

Spent a week at the Daniel in September, first time at the Daniel, the room was small but clean and comfortable. Had a good choice for breakfast. Gus and Vicky are excellent hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them, had lunch at hotel most days really good food and reasonable prices, just a shame that Kalamaki has changed so much just like a mini Laganas.
