my husband and myself have just returned from a ten day holiday at the Bitzaro Palace and have had a truly relaxing holiday. We were very pleased with the food, cleanliness of the bedroom - towels and linen changed alternate days, and the friendliness of all of the staff. We were on a full board basis. Lovely pool area. All of the guests were very friendly and we really have had a great holiday. Quick transfer time was an added bonus. Would recommend to anyone wanting a chilled out holiday.

My husband and i just arrived back from this hotel last Friday. We had two fabulous weeks at this hotel. Yes it's quiet, and yes no entertainment in the evening, but that's what we wanted.
We had full board, which included wine at lunch, and dinner if you wanted it, or beer/soft drinks. The guests were really friendly, quite a lot of German people there who nodded and smiled as they could not speak English.
The staff were amazing, especially Petra the receptionist. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Also the staff in the restaurant, Constantina, Anastasia, Helena, Catherine and George plus the other girls were so friendly, and so helpful. The food was very good, plenty of choice.
As everyone has mentioned, no fighting over sunbeds however there were a few people who were sad enough to put their towels on beds at a very early time. There were so many empty beds available it was really pointless. The beach was literally a 10 min walk from the hotel, and it was a pleasant walk at that. The beach was a bit untidy, but that is down to the natural enviroment of the Turtles. The sea was so safe, very flat while we were there. Very safe for small children. The strip ( shops/bars) were 5 mins walk away from the hotel, plenty of entertainment going on. There is a shop on the main strip on the right hand side of the road, it as manakins outside, sells fake designer stuff, Maria is the owner, so friendly and your sure to have a cracking deal. Bought some fab scarves with her Channel, LV. Don't worry about the flight path, the planes were a joy to watch. Also a big bonus just 10 mins from the Airport. I am deffinately going back next May 2012.

Room Tip: We were on the ground floor, very clean and quiet. But apparently the rooms above the reception area looking over the pool are much nicer. It did not bother us being on the ground floor in fact we liked it. The room we had was 148 it was cool and in a shaded part of the hotel.

Spent a relaxing week at the Bitzaro Palace, rooms were good cleaned on a daily basis, food was excellent, staff were very friendly and would give us lessons in Greek, pool area very quiet no fighting for sunbeds, this is a hotel for those who want a quiet relaxing holiday, would certainly recommend Bitzaro Palace and would certainly return, just one little moan the mozzies but thats no fault of the hotel just the extremely hot weather we had that week.

Had a lovely weeks stay at this hotel which is located so near to the airport its only a 5-10 min transfer and the planes can clearly be seen and heard coming and going which did not bother us.The hotel itself is very quiet apart from occasional gentle backround music.
We had full board plus with which we had a drink with meals including a carraffe of wine with dinner which was nice. Would not want to pay for all inclusive, which we could have done for 12 euros each per day, being as there is no entertainment in hotel and nothing to stay in for. However the sister hotel just round the corner, Bitzaro Grande did have entertainment on and could use their facilities.
The restaurant was lovely and the waitresses very efficient, clearing tables with minimum disruption. The food was lovely, always fresh and plenty to choose from at every meal, probably best food we have ever had from same star rated hotels. Only complaint in restaurant was at breakfast the coffee machine was very busy, always people queing and often they ran short of cups. Think they could do with another machine!
The room was spotlesss with a lovely view over the pool.
Only complaint about room was the air con! what a 'con! ' It was extremely hot while we were there last week but had to pay 30 euros for the air con, which would not have been so bad if we could have it on when we wanted but it only operated beetween 11pm and 7am so trying to get ready to go out in the evening it was so hot.I think when you have paid so much for a weeks holiday the air con. should be included.
We were very lucky last week when strolling along the beach about 9am we saw some baby turtles hatching from their nest and toddling down into the sea, that was amazing.
Its a lovely place if you want relaxation not noise and rowdy bars.

Room Tip: Pool view is nice

We stayed at the bitzaro palace hotel for 7 nights on an all inclusive basis from the 21 august 2011. Myself , partner and 5 year old son.

Location:
It took about 5 minutes in a taxi from the airport to hotel , this cost us 10 euros and was great as we were travelling with a young child. The beach is a 10 minute walk from the hotel which is all flat and the main strip of shops , bars and resturants is a 5 minute walk in the opposite direction.

Beach:
It is a great beach nice and sandy and the sea is very shallow a long way out, so great for kids ! Nice and warm water. Sun loungers are available for 5 euros for half a day or 7 euros for a full day. And all the money goes to a charity that looks after and preserves the turtles. As turtles nest on the beach you can't go on it at night / after 7pm. There is also a great little cafe selling drinks , ice creams , and snacks all a good price. They have pedlos you can hire for around an hour for 10 euros.

Hotel:
The hotel was clean and the room was cleaned daily. Fresh towels etc. Very small bath but okay, it had a nice big balcony. Tv had 2 english channels bbc world news and a film channel. The room had a kettle but no tea/ coffee or spoons ( so would advise you to take some plastic spoons ). Air con worked with no problems.
The hotel resturant was fantastic great selection of fresh salads, fish , meats, pasta , jacket potatos and even had roast lamb on the sunday. Home made soup every day ! . Desserts great but smaller selection ice cream , fresh fruit and small pastries. Staff in resturant very friendly and nice !. Drinks all good quality and great selection , only 1 issue is you have to collect/order your own drinks as they don't have waiters during day or evening only at dinner .
All the staff were great and very friendly / helpfull except the bar man he needs some lessons in customer service and basic manners !.

Pool / grounds:
Pool was a decent size and the kids section was fine nice and clean. Gardens all well maintained . Tables and chairs all in good condition, but be warned not enough sunbeds for amount of guests we didn't manage to get any the whole of our stay !! So unless you get up at 6am to do the towel run you won't get one , lucky our son enjoyed the sea/ beach so it didn't realy matter to us.

Entertainment:
This is a quite hotle no entertainment except for a pool table
And sports on tv in bar , no music even in the evening. But you can go to the sister hotel for free and they have lots of evening entertainment so was not a problem as we had the choice of a quite night .

All in a good holiday with great weather , food and people.
