The front door is unassuming. You ring a buzzer and someone quickly comes to welcome you to Casa de Las Flores. You take your first steps inside and find that you have to catch you breath - there is so much to see.! Your eyes dance from one art piece to another, the colours seem delicious. As you are lead through the salon, you might notice the two story fireplace, or that may come later when you return from the garden area. Hummingbirds are busy feeding above you and tranquility found in the garden is remarkable given the chaos of the street outside. Each accommodation has unique characteristics - no doubt you will make a plan to come back so you can try each of them. This is the place you want to stay when you come to Tlaquepaque - no question.

Everythng about our stay was superior. The rooms were beautifully appointed, the breakfast
was absolutely gourmet, we were a minutes walk to the center of town but the service was incredible. Our hosts, Stan and Jose, could not have possibly done more to make our stay comfortable, pleasurable and enjoyable. My friends and I had some complicated requests that were accommodated cheerfully and expertly. All of this in an exceptionally beautiful environment!

The owners and entire staff at Casa de Las Flores are extremely warm, friendly, and helpful. Upon arrival you are treated to a welcome drink in their lovely patio. They then give you a card with the B&B name and phone # in case you need it. They pass out maps of local areas with suggestions for places to visit and their favorite restaruants. Stan, an ardent collector of Mexican ceramics, gave us a fascinating lecture and tour of his art collection which is in every public room and even in the guest rooms of the B&B.
The rooms were spotless, large well lit and comfortable with a spacious bathroom. They all looked out into the gorgeous well maintained garden. Jose is quite the gardener. Internet connectivity is great and they even let you use their free Vontage phone to call the U. S. The staff is bilingual, so if you don't speak Spanish is isn't a problem . And, the breakfasts were fantastic, and each night we received a wonderful surprise dessert. They paid such attention to detail. They have their own driver, Luis, to take you to surrounding towns and on any tour you might desire. It is easy to get to Guadalajara, but so much more pleasant and safe to stay in Tlaquepaque. We stayed a week and are ready to return.

This place has it figured out! You pay a bit more than average prices in the area, but with your first bite of the cook's fresh pina emanada at breakfast you will think it's worth it. Don't miss Stan's orientation to the local ceramics and Victoria's cendaduria across the street.

From the time you enter the door and see the fabulous collection of artifacts and pottery, and the warm welcome from Stan anad staff, you know you're in the right place. I stayed here a few years ago and enjoyed it so much I brought my two daughters with me a couple of weeks ago. They loved it! The rooms are beautiful, the garden amazing, and
of course the food is tops. In fact the last night we were here we had the most delectable dessert, a Fruit Napolian that melted in your mouth.

The neighborhood is very safe and quiet at night. You might hear a rooster crow early in
the morning, so who needs an alarm clock! So, thanks again Stan and Jose for a
wonderful visit.

I have been travelling to Mexico for work for 30 years. Last April, I shifted from my traditional standby hotel to Case de las Flores...and ouch! I should have made that decision MUCH sooner! Ambience, food, gardens...and caring are all top drawer. I recommend staying there, heartily. It amplifies the charm of Tlaquepaque.
