“If this were a typical Osteria then I would have stopped visiting the Veneto years ago.”

Small portions and high prices are the main features here. You can of course get Fish and Chips but thats not why you came to Venice is it ?

Dear Customer,
We regret if you were disappointed with our Osteria, our intention was to mix traditional look and mediterranean cousine but always bearing in mind what’s the main priority for the clients from all over the world: feeling comfortable and at ease.
That’s why we mixed an informal and authentically local atmosphere with a varied selction of food, not just the venetian one! As one can see from the menu, ingredients are ONLY seasonal and fresh and they fully comply with the mediterranean cousine; even the hamburger which could be seen as an American speciality is made right in our kitchen from the meat our chefs mince daily! The September menu for example includes Crudo Ham of San Daniele, Squid Salad Mediterranean Style, Tagliatelle with Mushrooms, just to quote some...Could there be something more italian??? Hence Fish & Chips, Pizza- Focaccia and Tramezzini are just thought as snacks or easy-to-choose dishes ; not as a way of spoiling the local menu, on the contrary, as a way to broader our choice.
Moreover, as in every restaurant, portions are calculated according to average intake trends, 90 grams of pasta; 100 grams of ham in a sandwich, 100 grams of minced meat for the hamburger etc. Prices are more than avarage if compared to the general rank of the outlet shops and nearby restaurants: we think that about 8 euros for a first course and about 12 euros for a main dish, if daily fresh made and committed to offering the client the highest quality, are more than honest!
Veneto is made up of hard workers who want to please theis visitors, so you are more than welome to come back and have a second try! Our best wishes,
Vera Malisani

Having a casual tour in the Veneto designer Outlet some friends and I just bumped in this very typical Osteria: just take a quick view from the window next to the cashier where the food of the day is showcased and read the instructions from the blackboards. Choose a table, write the order, pay and a freshly homemade high quality dish will arrive at your seat! Try the homemade focaccia-style pizza, or the cicchetti veneziani for the aperitif, enjoy a good pasta and a tiramisu! Excellent local wine too! Welcoming atmosphere, caring staff, ask for the owner Luigi who will help when you don't know what to order, and you won't be disappointed! That's hospitality.. Now enjoy your meal!
