I went to Giovinazzo just for one evening and went here with my boyfriend after being recommended by a friend of mine. It is a lovely place, we sat outside were served by Maurizio who was great. I told him I was vegetarian and he said bellisima, and ordered us a special starter with mini crepes, edamame and mozzerella di buffalo with sundried cherry tomatoes. We also chatted to the owner who told us about the local wines and was able to recommend a lovely bottle of red from Puglia. For mains we had two different vegetable crepes and thoroughly enjoyed them. As the evening went on we saw queues outside, with both locals and tourists waiting to get a table. Great food, great service and a warm and welcoming atmosphere, everything about it makes for a very special evening.

Our first evening in town and this restaurant came recommended. Sadly, We were disappointed that despite being in a seaside community there was little to show for it on the extensive menu ... The wine was lovely and local .. We would recommend it to those who are not necessarily seeking an authentic Puglia experience ...

Our concierge suggested we have dinner at the “Creperie” just behind the hotel. We sat outside and had 2 courses each plus a pudding, a litre of ordinary wine and water. I started with deep-fried courgette flowers & finished with a generous fruit salad on a plate. My main was a slice of grilled veal with oven baked potato slices & a little salad; 55e in all.

Giovinazzo is my wife's hometown. We visit often and when we do our first stop is La Creperia. Everything about this restaurant is perfect. It is the most carasmatic , romantic and charming little restaurant tucked in the historical part of the city. This family run restaurant is the best you can find here. The food, the ambiance and il vino is out of this world!
