If you're on Malapascua, it's probably for the diving. As such, The Craic House makes a perfect home base to relax, have a bite, and plan your activities. Although it's a fairly new establishment on the island, the restaurant is already operating at very high standards, and all the meals were delicious. You can get proper bacon and real bread and butter here – something I missed dearly in backpacking much of the rest of SE Asia! The beer is also some of the cheapest on the island. The staff are super friendly and are quick to learn your name. You always feel welcome. It's a great spot to throw open your laptop, do a bit of blogging or what-have-you, stare out at the sea and enjoy lunch while Evolution Diving and the boys prepare your next descent.
