We were three. Two friends had the breaded chicken with french fries which they liked (served also with a salad of fresh cut vegetables) for 230 pesos. I had the chicken curry with coconut milk and rice for 220 pesos which was good, but for 80 pesos I had the night before the same quality for the same kind of meal at Ging Ging (2 minutes walk from there... the white rice was an extra like 20 pesos)... so for less than half the price (but for a slightly but acceptable smaller portion), I would rather go back at Ging Ging. By the way, Ging Ging (not on the beach but nice kind of terrasse/garden ambience) serves breakfast for around 70 pesos whereas other restaurant on Bounty Beach serve the same kind of breakfast for 200+ pesos...

Service was a bit slow.

Would I recommend it... yes, but for myself, I would rather go at Ging Ging as you could imagine...

Along the same pathway as Ging-Ging's is La Isla Bonita Restaurant. It is gem of a place for wide variety of European and local Filipino dishes.
The dinning setting is done very nicely, amidst a quaint little garden, which you must traverse through on a small foot path from its main gate.
The food is fresh and well prepared food and at an affordable price.
Just be mindful that some of the items on the menu are dependent on the catch of the day.

Came here for dinner, it was very tasty for a good buck. We came back several nights after. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Ordered a grilled squid, fish, and garlic rice to go along.

The squid was nice, the fish a little tough, and service and ambiance lovely. Spent a good evening at La Isla Bonita

Our experience here at la isla bonita, has been really a surprise! Fresh ingredients, cooked istantly with the outmost care and with a "home" taste. Flavours completely met our taste and it is quite surprising in a small island where they cannot be supplied with everithing 7/24: weather conditions were not compatible with fishing and there was no fish (nor in the freezer, according to restaurant policy).
Adobo was superlative and highly recommended, red curry beef in a full thai style. Sweet and sour pork: no words. Fortunately it starded raining, so we had no chance than order a fried pineapple, a glorious end for our dinner.
Nothing is pre-cooked or re-heated in a microwave; all dishes come complete with side orders... Yes, they do know what they're doing: this made us forget lack of wi-fi and the little wait to be served after our orders.
Definitely great!
P.s.: rain didn't stop and they escorted us to our hotel with umbrella...
