We had eggs benedict and were not really happy with what we got. Overpriced for the quality. But the coffee was really good.

We called into Dargaville for a quick break on our way to Whangarei and found Blah Blah Blah on the main street. The food coming out of the kitchen is great, unfortunately the waiting staff seemed to be in a complete muddle. However, this was just a quick stop and the food and coffees were excellent.

Blaa Blaa's is a great place for friends to meet and eat. Being a service town, The cafes and bars are what you expect in the country... but Blaas goes that little further. Really good food, congenial atmosphere, and indoor or out door dining

We were very hopeful when we stopped at the Blah Blah Blah on the drive from Omapere to Auckland, a busy looking place on a Saturday morning. We ordered our coffees and breakfasts and sat back to enjoy the break from driving. The coffees arrived promptly, and very good they were. 45 minutes later, after asking how long our food would be and two promises our breakfasts would be 'only 5 minutes' we were still waiting for something to eat. Seeing the cook at the back moving with the energy of a sloth on a go slow didn't inspire any confidence so we abandoned the idea of actually eating and left, the girl behind the counter less than understanding and nothing vaguely like an apology. The food may be good, we'll never know, but the service was absolutely dire.

I love the food here and the coffee is great! Whether you are dining for breakfast, lunch or dinner there is plenty of tempting dishes available. On the breakfast menu I can recommend the venison sausages with onion jam, delish. One of my all time favourite lunches is the iconic Kumara and Mussell chowder which you will find hard to beat anywhere! If you are dining and get to dessert I can wholeheartedly recommend the Kumara and Macadamia Cheesecake, may sound unusual but think pumpkin pie that has died and gone to heaven!!
