Owner description: Xel-Ha Natural wonder awaits you! Xel-Ha is simply unique! Xel-Ha is one of the world's most beautiful, natural aquariums. And it's all inclusive too!!! Swim and snorkel surrounded by rainbow colored fish who have made the river and inlet their home, take long walks in the middle of the jungle, ride a bike, take the train or just relax while enjoying the lazy river! All these activities are included too!

This natural ocean lagoon has been developed for guests to enjoy safely swimming with fish of all sizes and species. There is an abundance of natural wildlife inside the park. Price includes snorkelling gear, life vests, locker for clothes and valuables and as much food and drink as you can manage in the many bars and quality restaurants. Plenty of places to just relax and soak up the sun. This is a great day out for couples and families and is very well organised inside the park.

This is a well thought out facility. Our tour organizer had told us we needed to bring $ with us as a deposit for snorkel gear but that turned out to be a fallacy. They provided us with everything we needed as well as lockers at every stop that was required.

Take a full day. You will regret spending less time at this attraction. Food was good, and as I mentioned, on an "all inclusive" basis. You had no need to carry cash on you at all (unless you wanted souvenirs). The snorkeling was terrific, I regretted not walking around the facility earlier as we discovered some sink holes we could have snorkeled in had we known they were there.

In short, well worth the time and money. I would recommend this attraction as a must see to anyone travelling in the area

As a snorkeling water park there is very little to see here. Few fish, everthing looks mostly dead under the water. Very disappointing.
This package was sold to us under the pretence of being all inclusive so we expected to be able to do all the activity like we did at Xplor.
Sadly, any interesting activities were expensive extras. Most activities were priced at an additional $50 per person. So after the entrance fee of about $100 per person and the picture package of $80. So already $280. Then about 10 activities priced at $100 per couple. This place gets unreasonably expensive. $1200 for a day if you want to do everything.
We walked the circumfrance of the park and snorkeled down the river paid the extra to do the Sea Trek walk.
Over all I would not recommend this park if you are hoping to see anything interesting. I am sure there are much lively places to snorkel as this place is pretty dead.
The food was ok.
Not worth the price paid.

Dear visitor,

We offer you an apology if we didn´t reach your expectations.

We want to share with you that some activities are offered as an extra because of the following:

• In order to give a personalized experience, optional activities are available for a limited group of people, in comparison to the capacity of the park.
• The cost of maintenance of these activities is high, they are not included in the ticket for keeping the price as low as possible.

On the other hand, we would like to share with you that due the natural phenomenon called halocline (this occurs by the combination of the ocean water (salty) with the river water (sweet) in the natural inlet of Xel-Ha) in some places it´s difficult to see fish.

Thank you very much for your comments.

It was nice but what I would recommend is not buying all of those extra things I would just focus on what is included. We wasted a large portion of our day rushing from appointment to appointment. Don't get me wrong swimming with dolphins was fun but you couldn't take pictures and to buy them it cost around 200 US dollars and I felt so bad for the dolphins who were all cut up and bitten and scratched. Snuba was fun too but we didn't have enough time in the end to snorkel down the whole river but we did get to jump of the cliffs. There just isn't enough time in a day. I would also recommend going with a large group and negotiating a good price. For entrance we negotiated a price of $900 for 9 people. For the picture usb thing which you will see I recommend getting it there are numerous opportunities for pictures and we negotiated 10% off. Just negotiate we got a bunch of good deals that way!!!
