Good, quiet location in Patiala, this hotel is well suited for business stay. They have a beautiful garden. The rooms are average and the service barely tolerable. The restaurant is ok, and it is advisable to stick to the basics. Do not expect early breakfast here.

Almost centrally located, this hotel has seen better days. I reached at night, and was a walk-in, and too damn tired to search elsewhere. They have another "better" property, but i did not opt for it. Do remember, you are not go ON the flyover. Turn in the service lane before the start of the flyover, to enter the property.

A quick check-in, a walk up almost 2 dozen stairs, and i find myself into a very small and odd room. A claustrophobic person would not be able to handle it. Was shocked to see a gyser in the bathroom for hot water, but, then this property may not have been renovated since the Brits left India.

The only thing I can really remember is that the staff was very good and helpful.

Location and Rooms: It was a nice stay this hotel, located quite close to the main area of the city. Near to the Omaxe shopping mall, Kali Mata Mandir. Though I stayed there only for a couple of nights, the experience was nice. Rooms were OK...they need to emphasize a lot on cleaning. Detailing is missing. But looking at the pricing of the hotel, it is adjustable.

Food: Very good. Paranthas in the morning, with fresh curd, sitting in a beautiful restaurant (looked more like a museum), overlooking the garden, all enriched the stay. But you need to really have to wait in case you want to eat dinners. The restaurant is all full, with people waiting outside. May be one of the best in the city. Pricing is decent enough. Meal for two between 700-800, without drinks.

Staff: I had fallen ill on the date of arrival, and could not really get back to normal even while leaving. The staff was extremely helpful and caring. They arranged for medicines, arranged for a ride to a nearby hospital, kept checking upon my health. Really very touching. Thanks to all of them!

All in all, a good experience. I will return if I ever happen to go there again.

small place ,centrally located, very close to the famous Baradari gardes, wonderful food, rooms are small but neat and clean and not very expensive.
I am from Patiala only, we often dine there. On our daughter's marriage the groom and his family were put up there and they were happy with their staying arrangements.
The place does not allow loud and noisy music. The delicious food and the quite ambiance speaks a lot about a comfortable stay. There are lots many places to eat out in Patiala but Garden Resort definitely tops.

The best food u will find patiala is at garden resort. Though have never checked out the rooms. The food served here is Indian Mughalai Chinese continental. The food taste n quality is consistent whereas the the prices aren't.

Room Tip: This review is for the restaurant only.

Was in Patiala for a wedding and my friend organised the hotel rooms for us. It was ok, basic and clean although it was probably not the best place to stay whilst going to a wedding and having to get all dressed up mainly as they didn't have a hairdryer or iron. Also they ruined one of my favourite trousers when I had some laundry done I think by using too hot an iron on it so don't get anything ironed here especially if it's delicate fabric.

But on the more positive side the staff were very nice and helpful especially when my friend was ill so they really helped us and even made an improvised hot water bottle which really was a life saver for her. The hotel is well kept, clean and safe.

Breakfast there ok nothing special didn't eat anything else at the restaurant so can't comment.

I would stay again if i was visiting Patiala again.

Room Tip: Upper rooms will be quieter especially if there are any wedding events happening in the grounds and...
