This special find is worth the challenge of finding ! Portonovo hardly appears on the maps. About 3 hours south of Venice on the eat coast this area is a mass of gorgeously unsoiled beaches and national parks. The hotel is set high above the coast surrounded by its own park. Amazing views from the dining terrace are a feature plus charming service, good food and reasonable prices. A must when in the way to Puglia!!

The hotel is in beautiful place and the view in amazing, but the hotelrooms are tiny and needs upplift. The pool area is nice and the breakfast includes lots of variety. The young employees are very polite and helpful. The olders I suggest some lessons of customer service. Most of the rooms are connecting to each others and include door between rooms. Also balcony is nearly common with next room. The walls are very thin....

Room tip: If you want common room with family members or friends, this would be fine

The room is definetely not 4*. But it's clean. Breakfast is usual. The dinners are perfect! Staff is very kind and helpful. There can be problem with parking. However it's not because of little space but because of some guests don't know how to park their car

Booked with inghams, happy with the hotel. A mixture of people mostly German. The waiters were great and have a good sense of humour.
Drink service is very quick and meals are brought to you a little messy timing wise but nice.
It's a three star hotel and got what I expected. Would I return? Yes.
P. S try the wine bar left out of the hotel 2min walk. Great owner and a lovely place to have a glass off wine.
Garda is amazing so explore it!!!!

My partner and I just stayed at this hotel for 3 nights.

The room was a nice size and shower was good but pillows were terribly uncomfortable and no others were available to swap.

Hotel cafe/restaurant was good expect the fact that there was barley any options (4-5 pastas and pizzas) and when you are a 25 minute walk from Torri Del Benaco city it can get annoying to have not much option for dinner.

It was extremely annoying Wifi was only available in the reception and did not reach pool/ any rooms. Very hard to contact people back at home when sitting in the reception.
