After a long drive and many rejections for service due to busy long weekend, it was refreshing to be greeted with enthusiasm and a willingness to provide a great experience. From the moment host Lisa directed us to the comfy couch for a sip of wine until she was able to cater for our needs of a table and some food, till the final offer of a dessert by Lisa's mum, the entire experience was simply delightful. We felt welcomed from the minute we stepped into the restaurant and were provided a great lunch and service by the entire team / family. A must visit again !! PS the Rabbit pie was a nice touch on the specials menu on Easter Sunday. Keep up the great work team Miranda. We will be telling all of our friends to come see you :)

For the last three years we've stayed for a week in the Adelaide Hills and each time we've made the trip to Lou Miranda estate for a Saturday lunch. Once again (this was our 4th time), the restaurant more than lived up to our expectations: wonderful food, friendly service and great wines. We now start looking forward to our visits months in advance! When I rang to reserve a table, they said that they could fit the two of us in, though bookings were heavy; this caused some apprehension, as we had experienced a long wait recently in another popular restaurant (which shall be nameless) in the Blue Mountains where we live; yet we were served quickly and with the usual friendly helpfulness. Also- another bonus- it wasn't noisy in the way that many restaurants can be when crowded. We can't wait to return!

We had lunch which turned out to be one of the best meals we've eaten. Had the gnocchi, steak, chicken breast wrapped with prosciutto and dessert (chocolate lasagna)- just wish we had time to go back for a second meal before we left Barossa. Service was excellent. Couldn't ask for more- a definite must-go if you are in the Barossa region.

A lovely Italian restaurant in a magnificent old winery building. Integrated with the cellar door setting. The food was just great, we went to a supposedly authentic Italian restaurant in Darling Harbour 2 weeks before and the Miranda Restaurant was 10 times better.
It was also nice to see Lou Miranda him self working behind the bar and serving tables. Gave it a great feel. And the wines at the table were only a few $ dearer than the cellar door, unlike other restaurants.

Highly recommend to any interstate visitors visiting the Barossa for the first time. They make the best apple pie.

We dropped by here after lunch for coffee and dessert. We all had desserts that were to die for. Mine was the Affogato and I have truely never tasted anything so wonderful in my life, particularly when I don't really have a sweet tooth.

The staff and management exceeded our expectations and when we arrived they were getting ready to close for the day but we were still made to feel welcome.

We will definitely be back for lunch as the menu choices were very enticing. Make sure you put Miranda's on 'your to do' list!
