I've come to this restaurant for the last few years. The food is authentic and good, staff are friendly, menu is well priced and the venue is comfortable. The downside is the restaurant has a contrasting theme which is not Chinese but it still works for me. Even taking that into consideration I'll still recommend it.

Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Was very impressed by the prices for the food. We went for the duck special. $22 and fed 2 comfortably.

Drinks were good price for non alcoholic. Usual prices for alcohol drinks

Was very impressed and will definetly be going agian.

In illustration of the benefit of taking notice of other Tripadvisor contributors, we sought out Christine, the proprietor, and let her choose for us from the Chinese menu. The result was excellent and we noticed that, in a fairly full house, we were the only westerners.
The décor is somewhat bizarre – walls that aren't covered by gaudy Italian murals of lake scenes are covered with framed Italian antique prints. Perhaps a hint that they worry more about the food than the décor.
Fukang is a town in the remote west of China, and the name of the most ancient of all the Chinese martial arts. What this may mean in relation to the name of the restaurant is obscure – if I understood her correctly, Christine said the style of food is from somewhere near Beijing. Anyway, it can be very hot and spicy if you want it to be, which is one of the main characteristics of Szechuan (Sichuan) cuisine from the south-west.
We thought it was pretty good.

Crockery was chipped but food was great. Lots of local asian customers enjoying the authentic Chinese food. Worth a visit
