Springbrook Mountain Chalets
Reviewed November 21, 2012

We had 3 romantic nights in a one bedroom chalet with spa bath and cozy fire, the perfect way to relax and unwind after climbing Mt Warning and exploring the magnificent, World Heritage listed national parks. We were reluctant to write this review because we wanted to keep this place a secret but hey, my Mum taught me to share!

Unfortunately we only got the opportunity to stay one night here but I could have quite easily settled in for a lot longer. The chalets are so different to the norm and we really enjoyed the peace and quiet and especially the privacy. We were a little concerned because of previous negative reviews before we stayed but we weren't there to study the dust on a shelf and we had a fantastic time. Can't wait to go back.

Beautiful place to stay, so quiet and private. Chalets were well furnished and CLEAN. Although we really didn't need to speak to Managers the very little interaction I had with them gave me the opinion that they would be most helpful, if required. Fire place already had kindling correctly placed, all you had to do was drop in a firestarter and light it and keep stacking the wood in. Plenty of firewood was in the chalet, enough to keep fire burning all night. My daughter loved the chocolates that had been put int he champaigne flutes. Will definitely go back to this accommodation.

Only the lyre birds' calls and the breeze in the trees could be heard in the chalet after dark. The new owners are friendly and welcoming yet unobtrusive. The chalet is not the height of luxury but comfortable and appropriate for a forest setting.

We had an over night stay Saturday night just gone, beautiful drive up the mountain and then arrived an hour earlier then check in time was welcomed warmly and told we could go straight in and get settled. We stayed in chalet number 5 and it was amazing , as soon as you walked in you felt relaxed. A big spa in a side room with 180 degree views of nature !!! l
loved sitting on the back deck listening to the birds and then absolutely nothing at night.
A word to the wise come prepared if you are not eating out make sure you bring supplies as the general store charges an arm and a leg for basic needs .
Cant wait to re-book !!!

Room Tip: Chalet 5 is a good recommendation

This was our first time at Springbrook Mountain Chalets and I can't wait to return. A very private, clean and peaceful chalet nestled in the rainforest. What better way to unwind and relax. Of course there is the spa bath and the fire place. The management were lovely and able to offer some good advice on things to see and do in Springbrook. Only had to ask for one thing during our 2 night stay and that was for more firewood which was delivered to our door within minutes of asking. Fantastic spot. Love the spaciousness of the chalet and the feeling of pure relaxation as you sit on your balcony listening to and watching the wildlife. Thank you for a very romantic and enjoyable stay. We will be back.
