On a girls weekends away from Sydney and we decided on a splurge. The host/Sommelier was excellent, really knew his stuff and his recommendations were great. All our entrees were savoured- amazing chilli prawn pasta, duck pate, and the heirloom tomato salad. Our mains were great as well - the lamb to share, the crumbed pork and the fish of the day all really enjoyed. We rolled out after all having desserts as well - definitely a place to try for a special occasion. All waitstaff knowledgable and pleasant. We couldn't find a fault - and we dine out often!!

Enjoyed dinner with friends on a Saturday night. We booked in advance although the restaurant was not full. The food overall was very good and no complaints. The issue we had was with the order that the evening proceeded. We ordered pre-dinner drinks (cocktails) plus a bottle of wine and then our meals.. First to turn up at the table was the butter for the bread closely followed by the entrée. We were halfway through the entrée when our pre-dinner drinks arrived and you know a margarita does not exactly go well with tuna sashimi. Then the bread arrived. We had to wait a good forty minutes for our main meals after completing our entrees - the reason given was that "it was a very busy kitchen" however the restaurant was far from full, probably 2/3 full. Great location, no complaints about the quality of the food but staff need to be educated on how and in what order a meal and drinks should be served.

We went to vie last night for dinner and had a fantastic time. The view was great over the broad water. We had a well made mojito, a bottle of wine was reasonably priced and fantastic cooked main. The best part was the service from the assistant manager. Couldn't fault the restaurant at all.

We had a beautiful absolute waterfront table outside, just amazing. We had an entree and main each, for $42ea, great value. Food was amazing, recommend the chicken for main - and the baby veg salad with beetroot and goats curd was best salad ever.

After 5 days of below average Surfers Paradise dining experiences, we thought a treat would be in order on the final day of our trip. And we weren't disappointed. 3 courses of beautifully presented food, in a lovely waterside setting for $49!! Coming from Perth, this is great value. The children's menu was commendable and offered real food instead of "nuggets and chips".
Our waiter, Jakub(?) from Czechoslovakia was informative, not intrusive and accommodating with mock-tail drinks suggestions for the kids.
Yes, it is easy for the drinks bill to become more than the meal, but that's your choice! The food was beautifully presented, with quality ingredients and offered in generous portion sizes.
We'll be back in a heart beat when next in QLD. It was a pity we waited until our last day to discover this place.
Oh, and the "people watching" was fascinating too...
