Having forgotten that Australia is full of foodies and that it being a Saturday, I managed to find myself without a reservation for all my restuarant choices and so had to settle for Il Barocco in the hotel.

Having rediscovered quality food and restuarants in Aus, it was a shame that I had to finish the holiday with a buffet meal (which I normally like to avoid) whoch was the most expensive and in turn probably the worse meal of the holiday!

This is not to say that the meal was bad however it was just another pile it high buffet. With so many other restauant choices in this area, I'd much rather have less quantity and more quality but that's what you get with a buffet.

It's an expensive seafood buffet with not a whole lot of seafood.

We ate on our anniversary & they sat us at the table next to the toilets.

No atmosphere.

Great service.

DOn't think we'd go again.....

Without question, the finest buffet I have ever been to anywhere in the world. Consistent excellence in food and service make this a winner every time.

Superb seafood buffet; fairly expensive though but great for a special occasion.

Buffet goes for about $80 but it is well worth it. The range is magnificent and the seafood is always so fresh. When you pay roughly $50-60 at the Marriott for a sub standard buffet, you are better off spending a bit extra to have a real dining experience.
