One day is enough for this park. Go when it opens so that you can catch the first seal show at 10.15am, then the Imagine dolphin show at 11.30am, followed by Sponge Bob Parade (only for the younger kids) at 12.15pm, then the Jet Ski stunt show at 1.30pm. In between, you can catch a few rides, and then there is the rest of the afternoon to check out the animal exhibits/aquariums. The seal and dolphin shows have not changed compared to when we went a few years ago, but the Jet Ski stunt show was new for us. Feeding the rays was a really expensive affair AUD9 for 5 pieces of fish! And the person doing the commentary was more interested in encouraging us to buy the ray feed than telling us much about the rays themselves.
Rides wise, the Jet Ski ride is pretty exciting, as well as the usual roller-coaster. The log flume ride was OK. The rest of the rides were for small kids.
A combo ticket is much better value than the single ticket of AUD89. Bring water and food - there is a statement about not bringing food into the park, but no one was checking when we went. The food choices are limited and pricey and snacks are even worse - popcorn AUD6, ice cream AUD5, soft drinks AUD4-5

We had the whole day here.
Lots of activities and the dolphin show was great.
Loved the waterski show and loved all the fish exhibits.
Some attraction not to be missed whilst in Surfers.

We travelled from Perth in Western Australia just to go to Seaworld to do the Behind the Scene tour at Polar Bear Shores. We loved it...absolutely fantastic. We both left in awe of the work that is being down to help save the polar bears. Keep up the great work Seaworld.

We had a great day out as a family, but have to say for most of the time we made our own fun. The waterpark and roller coaster was closed on the day we went and we were quite disappointed to see the Bermuda ride was gone to be replaced by a construction site. Another ride coming but still.. Not fun to look at when paying $89 entry. I expected more with the overall outlook, I haven't been for years and have to say, even though the park didnt have a lot going on- the dolphins and underwater aquarium were well worth it!! Our five year old daughter loved it! A word of advice though, if going with a family take snacks and water. Food and drinks are way too overpriced and ordinary. But definately a fun day out if you have a positive attitude and a love for the beauty of marine life, just amazing (:

We were at Sea World on Saturday - they are rebuilding some attractions at present but it's looking fairly tired nowadays. It's been a fanily favourite of ours since 1972 and this was the worst that I remember it. Cable cars inoperable again (they were broken last time we came), it's now $5 to use the wateslide and kiddie pools, $12 for the pedal boats, food is just as you would expect, expensive, lacklustre service, greasy and you are trapped there having to fork out for very little.

The polar bear enclosure continues to be the most depressing animal enclosure I have seen in the developed world.

We hope that Sea World will come back to being the happy place it once was. We hope that this period is its nadir in history and not another step on the road to tourist trap hell.
