Been here so many times over the years. On this visit prices were through the roof, all of our fish were full of bones and the attitude of the staff was extremely slack.
Don't think I will be coming back. There are better quality places out there that care about the food they serve and the people they are serving. Very disappointed!!

Have been here several times on previous holidays, totally disappointed last week. Bought fresh snapper to be cooked which was very overpriced!! Our group consisted of children and adults, on commencing our meal the first bite was full of bones, this continued through every piece, not just one or two, more like 8 or 10 in each piece, the fish was dry and chewy. I returned the next day to complain, was directed to a notice on front of fridge saying 'some fish may contain bones' i spoke to the man refilling the containers about our bone problem saying i had never had bones in battered or fried special fish before. His reply was "you obviously have never eaten fresh fish before". Not coming back next time morree Sydney

We got rave reviews but the reality was different. This is on the other side of the road, and long queues suggested good foods. But i hindsight I think they were all naive tourists on school holidays. The fresh fish was exorbitantly overpriced, rip off for tourists, a real tourist trap. The specials were either that awful Vietnames Basa fish, which tastes like the food they eat under the river boats of the Mekong, or frozen, greasy Hoki from NZ. We all tried something different and all of us said the oil that was used to fry everything needed changing as it gave a burned bitter taste to everything. When the battered fish was broken open, the oil oozed out of the batter - yuk. Chips tasted like they were those awful frozen commercial things that began and ended in a factory,

We all felt well and truly ripped off especially as it took about 30 mins to queu and about 45 mins for the fish to be cooked!

Also difficult parking and then the view outside was nothing, just the road with the Sheraton opp.

Great little fish market where you can select your piece of fish and they will cook it for you or you can order off the menu. Selling both fresh and cooked seafood at reasonable prices and the nicest chips. You can eat outside on the seats and tables provided or you can take away or but fresh fish to cook yourself.

when we feel like fish and chips this place is our first and only option!!! the fish and chips are truly delicious and just perfect. the only let down is it can get really busy and you have to wait for a while. but it's close to the beach and good price and great fresh products so it's worth the wait!!!
