My daughter and I had a great time staying here, the only complaint was there wasn't enough time to just relax and enjoy all the facilities. The staff were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. The place was quiet and central to everything we wanted. We purchased a freedom pass from Gold Coast Shuttle which was fantastic value, picking us up from Ashmore and dropping us back there.as well as airport transfers. Looking forward to our next stay.

From the moment of initial contact to the follow up after service, the whole experience was an absolute delight. The service was outstanding, facilities gorgeous, and the bird aviaries - awesome! Location is fantastic too - close to everything. You don't want to leave - so make sure you allow plenty of time to enjoy the facilities!

We recently stayed here with our two children (3yrs & 18months) in a Lorikeet Lodge. We were also travelling with another family (2 adults 2 children) and we requested two cabins next to each other.
At check in the staff were very friendly, however we were very surprised with the location of the park. It is in the middle of an Industrial estate. We were also very dissapointed to find that although our cabins were next to each other it was impossible for the young children to walk in and out of each cabin without walking on the road, due to the poor layout. Our cabin faced an old broken down car with feral cats climbing on it. The other dissapointment was the childrens playground, (which would be great for older children). As the surface was all sand, no grass, and after seeing the amount of cats around we did not want our younger children sitting playing in the sand.
The park and cabin was very clean however we only stayed for two out of the five nights as we did not have any where for our children to play safely. If our cabins opened onto a grass area it would have been fine.
The park was close to the theme parks, and i would only reccommend staying if you were going to a few as there is not much else to do here!!
We ended up in a beautiful apartment at coolangatta with a lovely park and grass area for the kids to play and a great entertaining area for parents to relax whilst watching the children play safely.

We arrived with little hassle when checking in. We were correctly directed to our cabin, (The Rainforest Retreat) and given clear instructions in relation to the cabin. I was very happy and surprised with the content of the cabin ... it has everything including washing powder, dishwashing liquid and dishwasher powder. The kitchen was fully stocked with all that you would need, bowls, utensils, pots, pans, etc etc. The laundry was both washing machine and dryer with tub, ironing board and iron, all compact and out of the way. Both bathrooms were generous in size and had all that was required. The bedrooms were excellent and compact. The lounge and dining area were roomy. I didnt need for anything on this trip which made it easier for me as I was travelling alone with 2 young toddlers. Outside there are the 2 pools, the 2 playareas for children with daily activities. There is the amazing bird collection, including many macaws. Down the road are 2 supermarkets within walking distance and a shuttle bus from the reception area to take you to all your tourist destinations. I could not have asked for more. Thanks for the best and most enjoyable time away I've had in a long time. We will definitely be returning again.

My children and I travelled to QLD to catch up with family that we had not seen in a few years and had the extreme pleasure to stay at Ashmore Palms Resort on the gold coast, it was absolutely awesome from the friendly staff on arrival at check in to the swimming pools, bird aviaries, forest walk, cottage accomadation, playgrounds, bbqs, tennis courts and ammenities it was such a pleasure to stay at this resort that we really did not want to leave. During our stay we visited the theme parks conveniently close by and then would return each afternoon to our very comfortable cabin and enjoy the gorgeous surroundings. I have nothing but praise for the great staff who keep this resort so clean and well kept , we as a family cannot wait to return for a stay again next year . Have already recommended to a work friend travelling to QLD . A1++++++++++++++++

From the moment I contacted the lovely staff at Ashmore Palms I was impressed with their prompt and friendly response to my enquires. We were welcomed with lovely big smiles and the staff could not help us enough with information we needed in regards to local shops, attractions etc....The Cabin, "3bedrm Family Villa" was clean and the beds were made with fresh linen. Plenty of room for the larger family.
The village itself is surrounded by beautiful lush Palms and glorious gardens which are kept imaculate. The kids always had something to do before we went out for the day. Miss Daisy had planned activities eg Making Mothers Day cards, face painting, sand art.
The pool was warm enough to even go in at 7:30am and the birds were just delightful to look at, talk to and feed. The location is ideal , with either the free shuttle service to various locations eg. Harbourtown (factory outlet shopping) surfers paradise night markets. Ten minutes walk and you can access Ashmore shopping centre behind the village to get those much needed things for the fridge and pantry. BBQ and Laundry facilities were great and very clean. We loved the warm welcome, the eagerness the staff showed to help us and I couldnt believe how reasonably priced the accomatdation was considering all they have to offer within the resort. This was without doubt the best decision we made when we planned our Holiday.

We have always stayed at resorts but this time we let our kids help find a place they found ashmore palms on the internet and loved what they saw and we loved the price so it was a win win, we booked for a week during the easter break and had a great time it was good to be able to come back to the village after a day out and totally relax, its quiet except for the kids everywhere its amazing how quickly kids make new friends, my ten and twelve year old girls had a ball and want to go there again, i recommend it to families we loved it.
