“Ok not great”
Reviewed October 25, 2012 via mobile

We stayed here a few years ago and i regret not writing a review at the time. Overall the experience was ok. However the self catering part of the bedrooms we found to be very dirty and did not use. The beds were clean and it was nice to have a small table and chairs outside. Drinks and food from the bar were tasty and George provided good service. The distance from town didn't bother us. It meant day times by the pool were relaxing.
One day i popped back into my room from the pool and noticed my suitcase had been rummaged through. It definitely wasn't as i left it. I found a bra to be missing but convinced myself i must have left it at home. When i got home it wasn't there. It seems silly that i was victim of a bra theft, but it bothered me! i presumed the cleaner was at fault. We kept our handbags and money on our person so no problems with that.
i would only really recommend this place to young ish people who want a bit of peace and quiet in the day and are not bothered about cleanliness as the rooms aren't great. Oh and keep your valuables with you.

Do not stay here unless you want to loose money. We stayed here in Sept 2007 and unfortunately I did not read the reviews on this site prior to booking.

Like many of the other reviews, we also had money stolen. From the so called Safety Deposit box. We booked with Thomson and informed them of the theft, but they did not really do anything about it. We were told if we called the police that we would have to have an interpreteur present, and this we would have to pay for. However after reading these reviews, I wish we had gone to the police. Who do these people think they are? you go on holiday to enjoy yourself, and this has clearly been going on for some time.

Needless to say we will never go back.

Just got back from here yesterday and HAD to write a review as this place was brilliant, you couldn't meet a nicer family and no one would do half the stuff that George and his parents would do for you. I would definitely recommend it if you like a bit of peace and quiet but still want to be close to things such as restaurants, bars, pubs, clubs etc. Honestly, George and his parents would do anything for you to ensure you have the best stay possible. Can't thank them enough xx

myself and 5 friends stayed at the apartments for 2 weeks in may, we had a fantastic holiday and we could find no faults with our accomodation apart from the rather hard pillows on our beds. all of the staff went out of there way to make us feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble!!!!!!!! all we heard from our fellow guests was that the had all recieved the same fantastic hospitality. try georges spciality...jalipinos...the best in greece! all 6 of us would definatley return again!!!!!!! you must try the paradise restaraunt near the hotel... highly reccomended. enjoy.

My wife and I stayed here from 8th may to 15th, during this time we hired a safety deposit box, did I say safety!!!!!! thats a joke, we actually paid 10 euros to be robbed!!! on the second day we had 50 euros taken and then on the 5th day £20 also a sovereign ring was taken, when we reported this to the management, they went on the defensive, saying this was impossible, as we had keyed in our own personal number known only to us, so my wife then phoned her cousin whom is a lock-smith to find out how this is done, firstly there could be on over-ride number, and secondly he told us to remove the panel where the silver sticker was located, and we found the master key-hole, the manager told us he was the only person with access to this, and the key was kept locked in the bank in the town, but seeing as valuables and money had been stolen, some-body obviously has access, so maybe you should take your own safe to lock inside the safety deposit box!!!! be very careful as nothing at all is safe.
The one good thing to come out of it was we found a really good restaurant-Pizzeria called the Paradise 50 yards to the right at the end of the road...
