Never been to Greece before, we didnt know what to expect. We are a family of 6. Kids of 12 and 15 and 2 grandparents. nAlso have never stayed in an all inclusive hotel before. Both were really great. The food at the hotel was amazing.Great for families. Everything was freshly prepared and so much choice. This really was all inclusive as plenty of breakfast, from fruit to bread, biscuits, cereal, yoghurt, to full english cooked breakfast, Lunch was as good as dinner. So much choice. Loads of salad, soup, lots of choice of main meals. Desserts were amazing and plenty of tea and coffee. Afternoon tea and cake. Ice cream for kids (although dependent on which member of staff was serving, adults did get ice cream also). The drinks were great. Beer, spirits, wine, soft drinks, kids cocktails. You certainly won't go hungry or thirsty here. Also, if you are out for the day or on a trip and miss out on a meal, you can order a snack pack to take with you (order night before) which contains water, juice carton, crisps and a piece of fruit. Plenty to keep you going until the next meal.
Rooms were spacious and clean. Pool area clean, friendly staff, rep was great and knowledgeable about the resort. Air con is available if you pay which was reasonable. Safes available in room for £14 euro for a week. Some rooms have hair dryers (ours didnt) but no problem. Phones in room.
The entertainment girls were wonderful with the children. Also with adults during the day organising games of pool, darts, volleyball and water polo. Always something to do, the evening entertainment was enjoyable. Kids disco, bingo, quiz nights, cabaret etc.
I don't know why some people are moaning about the hotel. If you want 5* then you should pay for a 5* hotel. This is one of the cheaper all inclusives on Zante but for us it was fine. I don't know what some people expect. It was a very enjoyable holiday with no bad points and I'm sure if there was anything bad, the staff would have sorted it out. One of our party wanted some softer pillows and this was sorted the same day.
Great hotel, great food, great staff.
The only downside was with Laganas strip. We wandered down there one day for the shops and it was quite a dirty area. Nice few shops but the streets are littered with drink bottles. The Hotel is a good 15-20 minutes from the main strip and a short walk to another road of bars and restaurants. It is far enough away not to be bothered with it all but it would have been nice to have a walk out in the evening without being bothered about "come and have a drink" after we passed each bar but then this could happen anywhere.
It is a busy and popular resort for 18-30s so we did have a lot of youngsters in the hotel who used to stay until the bar closed then go down the strip until early morning. Some noisy residents but on the whole not too bad. There are signs everything in the hotel to respect noise levels but no one really took any notice but then again if you're tired enough you will sleep through it.
Overall lovely hotel, situated away from the main strip.
I would go back there.
