Majestic Spa Hotel

well-well-well)))
Location and facilities:
The Majestic Spa Hotel has an excellent location on the main street (there are a lot of clubs, shops, restaurants, bars, even a small supermarket and the sandy beach nearby). The hotel itself is rather morden, has good reception and dining area.. We've got a nice room with a balcony, bathroom, aircon, fridge, TV -everything was ok. The only problem was the drunk teenagers, who were shouting and crying every night..14 terrible nights))). It was horrible, cause it was difficult to sleep and to wake up next morning
Food and beverages were just ok, not so tasty, but not disguisting))) the main problem was the queue for drinks (cause all drinks at the dinner and supper are served by bartenders.. even if you want a glass of water -you have to go to the bar and wait.. The food was repetative, spagetti, potatoes, rice, etc. Boring, but its the same for many ALL incl.hotels... At the bar you can drink local alchohol, beer and strange cocktails . We were not brave enough to try anything)))..The problem is that you can takea drink in a small plastic glass, that's why there are many wet youngsters standing in the queue and a lot of plastic glasses around the swimming pool... The same in the evening, bar was open till 23:00 and there was no place to sit and a lot of people waiting for a drink...
Staff. Actually we were afraid to met a lot of rude and grumpy people o))) No, the receptionists were rather polite, the maids were very nice (unfortunately, our maid didn't speak and understand English well, so it was a problem to explain smth, but she always tried to help))) The bartenders were very lovely and nice, always smiling( Mihalis and Stella, and there was greek gentleman in the evening, don't know his name)
Visitors: well, it is a hotel for 18-30 people)) I wouldn't recommend this hotel for the families, old people, couple who want to have a rest and children.. Too noisy, extremely noisy and annoying... The main tourists are from Great Britain, Serbia, Poland...
Beach and the sea.. It's too crowdy, but you can find a quiet place not far from the main beach, if you want..Or you can order a drink or dinner in the cafe nearby and can have a sunbed and umbrella...
Sightseengs: Zante has a very beautiful nature but it's better to rent a car .. Also you can take some excursions (they will offer you to watch the turtles or the shipwreck) or to go to city centre on bus.. But you shouldn't expect anything extraordinary, it's notlike Crete, Athens or Santorini. It's just amazing nature..Laganas itself is a small village with lots of young tourists, so sometimes it can cause the problems (I have already mentioned drunk teenagers and a lot of trash on the streets:))
So, it's not so bad, it's just okay. The advice #1. it's better not to expect to find a true 4* hotel (it's 3*) the advice #2. be aware of drunk rowdy teenagers))))

I stayed in Majestic Spa last May with 5 friends. The overall appearance of the hotel is amazing. It's very modern. The rooms are contemporary and reasonable sized. The bed sheets are cleaned daily and fresh towels are also provided daily. The bath facilities were good.
Baring in mind that it wasn't peak season, the hotel was pretty quiet and chilled with many couples, groups of friends and mature people.

The downfall that we experienced was the food wasn't great at all. For all inclusive it was annoying as we paid for breakfast, lunch and dinner but we ate out most of the time. There are many fantastic restaurants on the strip especially the restaurant across from the strip club. They do authentic greek, Italian and English dishes and are always packed. The spa wasn't opened for days as they were short staffed but it's very beautiful inside but we didn't have time for any treatments.

Overall its a decent hotel but bare in mind it's on the strip so expect noisy crowds especially in the peak season.

Had a fantastic week staying at the majestic...me and my friends went last summer for 1 week and have already booked to go back again! The hotel is lovely and modern. Our rooms were lovely cleaned every day. The location of the hotel couldnt have been any better..in the middle of the main street with all the bars and clubs on our doorstep..perfect for getting home at the end of our nights out! The beach was literally a 5 minute walk too so we spent our time at the beach and the pool in the hotel which was nice and clean too. The food and drinks were fine for what we paid for it. We ate out a couple of nights too as there were lots of restaurants on the main street. Weather was great we went in July so was v hot this time, so got a great tan! We used to go to the Fishbowl bar in front of the hotel where we got special offers with our all inclusive wristbands and they did amazing shows in the bar every night with fab bar men! Went with 3 other girls and we met loads of people had a great week and have booked again to go back again...cant wait!!!

I stayed in Majestic Spa hotel for 3 nights. I was first reticent by reading all these bad reviews but finally...it was not so bad.
Althought there wasn't a wide variety of food,it was tasty.French fries might have been a little more salted than usual but in general they were edible.
As far as the rooms are concerned, they were spacious with nice beds and a nice view. The only flaw was the bathrooms. The sink was dirty and the fauset was full of mould.
I didn't try the pool as it wasn't filled with water yet.But i saw that the maximum depth was 1.6m.
One of the receptionists was very polite while the other one was very rude. Room cleaners didn't make the beds well and the furniture were always full of dust..
Moreover the bathroom towels were renewed 1 time in 2 days

All in all majestic spa isn't as bad as it's roumored to be. I wouldn't recommend it but if you don't have any other choice you won't have a bad staying

Room Tip: The rooms with a view to the pool are nice and not noisy at all

Amazing all inclusive hotel in great location. Modern, spacious rooms cleaned daily. We also had some spa treatments upon arrival that we enjoyed a lot really relived the tirenes after the long flight! The house wine especially the white one was also served in carafes of one liter. One of the best I’ve ever tasted. Friendly staff, especially the receptionists who were really helpful and polite by proposing day trips, sights, and booking taxis for us. Definately a great value for money, especially if you travel as a family. Laganas beach is just a five minute walking distance and gives you many alternatives of just chilling by the pool.

we stayed for a week end of september 2012. it was a couple's holiday. the room was lovely, clean and modernly furnished in mimimal design. the weather was really hot, we enjoyed a couple full day excursions and had a really deep tan!! the hotel is at a really convenient location, the pool lounges are nice, relaxing, the buffet and drinks all inclusive. the spa on extra charge but really worth it to enjoy a treatment my girlfriend had a french manicure with lasted for ten days, and a henna tattoo. i had a combiantion of a full body massage and a facial treatment by an amazing therapist who washed my feet in flowers first and started to massage me from the toes to the top of my body with hot oil. bliss:)) i love zante!!
